Low cost container condition monitor
Low-cost techniques for sensing ambient temperatures in a container or package using phase change materials are provided. In one aspect, a temperature sensor is provided. The temperature sensor includes: at least one phase change material configured to transition from an amorphous state to a crystalline state upon exposure to temperatures above a predetermined threshold temperature for a given duration. A method of monitoring temperature exposure of a consumer good using the temperature sensor is also provided.
Time and temperature indication module and manufacturing method therefor
The present invention relates to the time-temperature indicating module which allows the user to trigger the bursting of the starting member with a simple motion and generate a crack so that the spread material interposed inside spreads via the crack. The present invention also relates to the manufacturing method of the time-temperature indicating module that strengthens a sealed section of the time-temperature indicating module using laminating by heat sealing to prevent the spread material from leaking or flowing out.

Device, system and method for temperature limit indication and detection of temperature-sensitive items
A device for indicating violation of a temperature limit of an item is provided. The device is positionable near the item and includes a sensor configured to change its state permanently when the temperature limit is violated. The change in sensor state is machine-readable to provide a permanent indication of the temperature limit violation. The sensor includes a reservoir for storing a fluid that changes phase from a solid to a liquid when the temperature limit is violated and a channel in fluid communication with the reservoir for receiving flow of the fluid in liquid phase from the reservoir. The sensor is arranged to allow flow of the fluid in the liquid phase such that the state of the sensor is permanently changed. The sensor is further configured to prevent the fluid flow from permanently changing the sensor state until activation of the sensor from a resting state. A system and method for detecting violation of a temperature limit of an item using the device is also provided.

TEMPERATURE SENSING WITH PARTICLES IN MEDIUM MATERIAL
Aspects of this disclosure relate to detecting temperature based on movement of one or more particles within a container. The container includes a medium material. Mobility of the one or more particles in the medium material changes in response to a change in temperature.

THERMOGRAPHIC DEVICE FOR MEASUREMENT OF DIFFERENTIAL TEMPERATURES IN TISSUE
A thermographic sensing device for measuring temperatures at one or more regions of the human body, particularly the breast, utilizes a thermographic composition deposited into linear arrays of recesses formed in the lobes of a conformable medium which is disposable against the skin. The thermographic composition includes a binary solvent system and at least one colorant, wherein the compositions in each array are formulated to melt at precise temperatures, within a diagnostically temperature relevant range, to change from a first visible color to a second visible color.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A VARIATION IN TEMPERATURE
A control device for detecting a variation in temperature in an enclosure, includes a receptacle having at least one transparent surface portion including a solid solvent which is transparent and the solidification temperature of which corresponds to the maximum temperature threshold required in the enclosure, wherein a coloured composition having a different colour from the solvent has been partially diffused before the solvent is solidified.
