PROTECTIVE SLEEVED GLOVES AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
A protective sleeved glove includes a glove with an attached loose sleeve. The sleeve can have a length to cover the wearer's forearm and bicep during an activity, such as for example gardening. A fastener band can be used with the sleeve in order to hold the sleeve in place over a bicep of the wearer.
A GLOVE AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A GLOVE
A ring-shaped member is arranged for engaging with an opening of a glove to form a circumferential trough around the opening of the glove. A glove and a method of manufacturing a glove comprise a conical collar forming a circumferential trough around the opening of the glove and where the collar comprises such ring-shaped member. The ring-shaped member comprises a first annular portion of a conical shape, a second annular portion of a conical shape, and a central annular portion in between the first and the second annular portions. The ring-shaped member is foldable about the central portion to attain a folded configuration wherein the second annular portion is folded down to lie essentially alongside the first annular portion.
GLOVE STRUCTURE
In the present disclosure, a piece is disposed on a glove core of a glove structure, and an edge of the piece is to injected and filled with molding material to have an injection molding assembly thereon. The injection molding assembly at least fills a section gap between the glove core and the edge of the piece. By using the injection molding assembly, the section gap between the glove core and the edge of the piece is masked, and an adhesive effect for bonding the piece is also obtained. Thus, the present disclosure provides positive and reliable means for preventing the edge of the piece from being separated from the glove core, making the glove structure maintain its required function in long term, increasing the quality and the lifetime of the glove structure, and making the glove structure have a curved surface shape to present its three-dimensional shape.
Cold weather gloves and mittens
A hand cover including a glove or a mitten intended for use in cold weather conditions. An outer layer is made of silicone and has a thickness of 0.04 inches to 0.06 inches. A lining is made of polyester with a cotton fill and contacts the entire inside surface of the outer layer. The back and the front of the hand cover are spaced apart from each other which forms a hand access opening. A combination of a pair of hand covers and a strap bracelet which is held in loops on the hand covers.
Fluid management system
A fluid management system includes a sleeve member having a first end, a second end, an interior surface, and an exterior surface. The first end of the sleeve member is proximate a distal end of the gown sleeve and the second end extends inside of the distal end of the gown sleeve. A portion of the exterior surface of the sleeve member proximate the second end is in contact with a portion of an interior surface of the gown sleeve. There is a cuff member having a first end, a second end, an interior surface, and an exterior surface. The interior surface faces and is moveable with respect to portions of the exterior surface of the sleeve member/gown sleeve to enable the insertion of a cuff ring of the protective glove between interior surface of the cuff member and the exterior surface of one of the sleeve member/gown sleeve.
Gown-glove interface reinforcement accessory
An accessory cuff is configured to reinforce a gown-glove interface to protect a wearer from exposure to potential pathogens or contaminants through vulnerabilities in the gown-glove interface. The accessory cuff includes a body extending from a proximal end to a distal end along a longitudinal axis. The body has a lumen extending therethrough from the proximal end to the distal end, and a wall surrounding the lumen. The accessory cuff is configured to create a fluid impervious barrier to prevent fluid from entering the lumen when the accessory cuff is sealed at the proximal end and the distal end.
Protective Sport Glove
An armored protective sport glove for use in historical-type armed combat having an underlying durable flexible glove with extending cuff having rivets and washers. A contoured armored backplate with padded underlayment is attached to the underlying glove, the backplate connecting with underlying material strips which over and along the back of the fingers and thumb providing connections for overlapping finger and thumb plates which flare at the knuckles and wrap exposed portions of the hand and thumb. The contoured overlapping plates and underlying material connection strips connected with one another and to the underlying glove at specific positions allowing for increased mobility and ease of replacement of worn or broken materials. Fingertip protection is increased by use of soft durable connection means decreasing the risk of smashed or pinched fingertips. Pivot points at the wrist increase mobility at the wrist and thumb.
DEVICE FOR TAKING A GLOVE ON AND OFF, AND A GLOVE
A device for aiding in taking on and off a glove of an elastic material from a hand of a user. The opening of the glove is reinforced by a flexible collar. The device includes a container with an opening for receiving the glove and hand, and with a circumferential rim for supporting the collar such that the container and glove inserted into the container form a closed compartment. The container has a bellow to change the volume and pressure within the container. A vent in the container is opened by the hand from within the compartment for removing any under pressure when the container volume is increased, such that the hand inserted in a glove can be easily withdrawn from the compartment. A method of manufacturing a glove for use in such device is also provided.
FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A fluid management method and system, includes: a garment having a sleeve extending from a shoulder portion of the garment, the sleeve having an interior surface and an exterior surface; and a cuff member attached to the exterior surface of the sleeve, the cuff member comprising a flap having a foldable portion and a seam portion, wherein: the seam portion is attached to the exterior surface of the sleeve by a seaming weld, the foldable portion is configured to be placed in a folded position in which it covers the seam portion and an unfolded position in which it extends proximally outwardly from the seam portion and does not cover the seam portion, the seam portion is configured to receive thereon a first O-ring of a first protective glove worn by a user of the fluid management system, and wherein the seam portion prevents distal sliding of the first O-ring.
Device for taking a glove on and off, and a glove
The invention relates to a device for aiding in the taking on and off a glove of an elastic material from a hand of a user, wherein the opening of the glove is reinforced by a flexible collar, the device comprising. The device according to the invention comprises a container with an opening for receiving the glove and the hand, and with a circumferential rim for supporting the collar of the glove such that the container and the glove inserted into the container form a closed compartment. The container comprises means such as a bellow to change the volume of the container and thereby of the pressure within the container. Further, a vent is placed in the container such as to be opened by the hand from within the compartment for removing any under pressure when the container volume is increased, such that the hand inserted in a glove can be easily withdrawn from the compartment. The invention further relates to method of manufacturing a glove for use in such device, the method involving placing a flexible collar around the wrist of a hand model prior to dip moulding the glove. When pulling off the glove from the hand mode, turning the glove except the opening with the collar inside out, the collar forms an outwardly folded down border on the finished glove.
