Fill fluid thermal management

A remote seal assembly for a process transmitter includes a seal body containing a cavity sealed by a diaphragm. The seal body configured to be mounted to a process element containing a process fluid such that a first side of the diaphragm is exposed to the process fluid. A capillary contains a fill fluid that is in fluid communication with the cavity and a second side of the diaphragm. A coupling has a capillary recess and two cavities separated by a second diaphragm. The capillary extends through the capillary recess and connects to the coupling such that the fill fluid in the capillary is in fluid communication with one of the two cavities and the second diaphragm. A thermally conductive element preferably extends continuously along the capillary from the seal body toward the coupling and into the capillary recess without contacting the coupling.

A pressure sensor assembly includes a pressure sensor, a pedestal and an electrically conductive header having a header cavity. The pressure sensor includes, an electrically conductive sensing layer having a sensor diaphragm, an electrically conductive backing layer having a bottom surface that is bonded to the sensing layer, an electrically insulative layer having a bottom surface that is bonded to a top surface of the backing layer, and a sensor element having an electrical parameter that changes based on a deflection of the sensor diaphragm in response to a pressure difference. The pedestal is bonded to the electrically insulative layer and attached to the header within the header cavity.

A reconfigurable pressure transducer assembly having an input tube filter assembly is provided. Multiple small inlet apertures of the transducer housing or input tube filter assembly may be utilized to filter particulate matter from the measurement media/fluid. The resonant frequency and dampening characteristics of the pressure transducer assembly may be configured by the input tube filter assembly such that temporary clogging of a portion of the small inlet apertures does not appreciably affect the resonant frequency and dampening characteristics. The input tube filter assembly includes one or more inserts disposed in an input tube channel, the one or more inserts including one or more apertures of selectable dimensions and extending therethrough from a first end to a second end. The one or more inserts define at least a filter aperture, and the input tube filter assembly is tunable by selection of the selectable dimensions of the one or more inserts.

A pressure gauge includes an introduction member, a connection member, a bourdon tube, a pointer, a dial plate, a detector, and an information communication unit. A battery installed in the information communication unit is disposed between a circuit board and a lid. The information communication unit is inserted in a through hole of the dial plate to be disposed astride between a front surface and a rear surface of the dial plate and the lid is disposed on a side of the information communication unit close to the front surface of the dial plate.

EXTRACORPOREAL BLOOD TREATMENT MACHINE COMPRISING A POKA-YOKE FOR A PRESSURE SENSOR

An extracorporeal blood treatment machine includes a blood treatment device, a conveying device for conveying blood through the blood treatment device, and a connection mask designed to interchangeably receive a tube set in a predefined arrangement. The tube set has pressure-monitoring lines that branch off from the tube set and can be connected to pressure sensor connections located on the connection mask. The pressure sensor connections are spaced apart and positioned so as to match the tube set such that, when the tube set is mounted in the predefined arrangement on the connection mask, each pressure-monitoring line, owing to its limited length and the predefined arrangement of the associated branch on the blood treatment machine, can be connected exclusively to only one of the pressure sensor connections. A corresponding tube set is used with the extracorporeal blood treatment machine.
