Pressure sensor

A pressure sensor includes a connection portion provided with a screw portion configured to fix the pressure sensor to a combustion chamber of a vehicle engine; a hollow liquid-enclosing container fixed to one end of the connection portion; a pressure transmission fluid enclosed inside the liquid-enclosing container; a diaphragm fixed to one end of the liquid-enclosing container and elastically deformed when receiving pressure to transmit the pressure to the pressure transmission fluid; a pressure detection element fixed to the other end of the liquid-enclosing container and detecting the pressure transmitted to the pressure transmission fluid and converts the detected pressure into an electric signal; and a heat-dissipating rod provided inside the liquid-enclosing container. The connection portion and the liquid-enclosing container, and the connection portion and the diaphragm are mechanically connected to each other by welding or the like.

PRESSURE MEASUREMENT TOOL COMPRISING A SHEATH FOR INSTALLATION IN A DUCT OF AN AIRCRAFT ENGINE

A pressure measurement tool secured to a rod arranged across a duct of an engine of an aircraft. A sheath includes two walls which bound a space receiving the rod, the space communicating with the outside by an opening extending over the length of the sheath, the sheath having a bay extending over the length of the sheath and cavities distributed over the sheath. For each cavity, an air inlet including a passage opens at one end into the cavity another end into the duct. A printed circuit board runs along the bay. For each passage, a pressure sensor in the corresponding cavity faces the passage and is on the printed circuit board. A unit is provided for processing and/or recording the data transmitted by the pressure sensors. It is thus easy to install and makes it possible to take a large number of measurements in the secondary duct.

Knock sensor with lower collar bored with attachment holes

A knock sensor including a body, having a detection assembly able to measure vibrations, and a metal mount having a support ring on which the detection assembly rests, a peripheral casing to protect the detection assembly, made from a thermoplastic material applied by overmolding at least in part around the body. The mount includes a lower flange below the support ring and the lower flange is bored with attachment holes, which improve its sealing.

Washer fixation method and system

Assembly systems and methods are provided for elastically deforming a non-circularly shaped washer while driving the washer through an insertion tool into a workpiece, such as a pressure sensor, having a correspondingly shaped recess with an inner wall diameter less than a maximum radial dimension of the non-circular washer. The washer is released from radial compression into the recess so as to permit the washer to become fixated against the inner wall of the recess by a retention force. The fixated washer has a height greater than a height of the recess inner wall, and may serve as a deformable sealing element between the workpiece and other components.
