According to the various features characteristics and embodiments of the present invention which will become apparent as the description thereof proceeds, the present invention provides partially fingered gloves intended to increase the overall performance in sports activities including but limited to football and golf. Primarily because of its unique finger configurations, and/or grip enhancers, and/or hand protective properties, the present invention makes a glove more operable in various sports activities.

Embodiments disclosed herein include devices and methods pertaining to gloves for protection of a wearer's hand. According to various embodiments of the disclosed technology, disclosed is a glove. The glove may include a glove body comprising a cuff portion, a palm portion, a thumb portion, and finger portions. The plurality of finger portions comprises at least one of an index finger portion, a middle finger portion, a ring finger portion, and a pinky finger portion. The glove may include a plurality of impact disbursement pads. The impact disbursement pads comprise finger pads, knuckle pads, metacarpal pads, and a thumb pad. The glove may include a webbing portion and knuckle pads. The glove body is formed from a first material, the webbing portion is formed from a second material, and the impact disbursement pads are formed from a third material.

A grip assist apparatus that may be worn on either hand that includes a gripping portion that includes an insert designed to prevent lifting bars to come into contact with an area of vulnerability in the center of the palm, which is prone to injury.

Disclosed is a glove intended especially for racket sports, allowing the almost total preservation of sensations when an object is being held. The glove is open up to the distal phalanges of the fingers in order to preserve maximum contact with a handle, and has gripping material on the fingertips in order to optimise the gripping of the handle and prevent the glove from slipping around the fingers. An elastic part surrounds the wrist, with anti-slip properties on the side next to the skin for better hold. The present invention relates to textile articles and clothing such as outdoor garments, indoor garments, and commercial protective wear exposed to contact mixtures of water and oil, swimwear and winter wear exposed to mixtures of water and air. At least part of these textile articles possess a surface provided with at least one of 1) a high surface area, 2) hierarchical pattern, 3) contact angles such that hydrophilic portion of a contact mixture possesses a high contact angle and the hydrophobic portion of a contact mixture possesses a low contact angle, and 4) hysteresis angle greater than 5 degrees. Hydrophobic/Hydrophilic contact mixtures of the present invention can be surfaces where water and or ice are present in combination with oil and or air. The textile articles of the present invention resist slippage on surfaces possessing hydrophobic/hydrophilic contact mixtures.

A football glove having a silicone palm portion, silicone finger portions that wrap around lateral side portions to the thumb, index finger and little finger, and a silicone back portion that wraps around a lateral side portion of the back to increase the user's hand grip on a football. The silicone portions and non-silicone portions of the glove are connected together along locations on the back side of the glove so as to on the rear portions of the glove to provide a continuous smooth catching surface for the glove user.

A glove is provided that enables suppression of cracks in a coating layer containing nitrile butadiene rubber as a principal component. The glove comprises: a glove main body made of fibers for covering a wearer's hand; and a coating layer which comprises nitrile butadiene rubber as a principal component and coats at least a part of an outer face of a palm region of the glove main body, in which: the coating layer comprises zinc oxide and a cross-linked product of the nitrile butadiene rubber and polycarbodiimide; and a mass ratio of the polycarbodiimide to the nitrile butadiene rubber is no less than 0.002. Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a glove, having a palm-side base material, a backhand-side base material attached to the palm-side base material, and at least one repositionable finger covering operable to selectively cover a finger. A respective repositionable finger covering of the at least one repositionable finger covering is positionable in a finger-covering configuration, in which a finger is not exposed from the glove, and is positionable in a finger-exposed configuration, in which the finger is exposed from the glove while the glove is on a user's hand. When in the finger-covering configuration, a portion of the respective repositionable finger covering is overlapped by the palm-side base material such that the portion of the respective repositionable finger covering is arrangable underneath the palm-side base material.
