WETNESS INDICATOR GARMENT
The technology described herein relates to a pair of long pants garment panel comprising a pattern of a durable water-repellant (DWR) coating that is selectively applied on to the pant legs of the pair of long pants. The pattern is comprised of a plurality of discrete shapes that are isolated from one another. In other words, the textile material surrounding each discrete shape in the plurality of discrete shapes is not coated by the DWR coating. A size of the plurality of discrete shapes in the pattern is gradually decreased moving up the pant legs starting from a hemmed edge up to a knee area. The pattern is visible during wet conditions and not visible during dry conditions.
Protective Garment and Related Methods
A garment is provided that includes an outer tubular garment portion and an inner tubular garment portion that are each fabricated from the same, continuous piece of protective material. By being formed from continuous portion of material, a user is provided with protection from ingress of fluids around an appendage when such fluid might be otherwise introduced through breaks in the material that rely entirely on a circumferential seam to secure separate pieces of material together. The inner tubular portion is not removable or severable from the outer tubular garment portion but is extendible to allow a user flexibility of use (e.g., stretching) without sacrificing performance. A method of creating a circumferentially continuous fluid impervious seal is also provided.
Detachable pants protector
A protector for pants bottoms that serves to protect the pants bottoms from being wetted by rain, is formed of a generally tubular body having a smaller cross-section at a side adjacent a bottom opening and a wider cross-section side adjacent at its top opening. An attachment mechanism allows attaching the pants protector to one side of the pants, adjacent the knee of the wearer, and the protector is constructed to have the appearance and look of a pants bottom portion, mimicking the pants itself, from an area at the bottom of the pants to at least approximately the knee location. Thereby, during rain, upon donning a pair of the pants protectors, the bottom of the pants is protected from driving rains and one who appears at a formal event is able to remove the protectors and be left with spotless pants.
Guard accessory for pants
Disclosed herein is a protective guard accessory for protecting the cuff of a pant leg. In a version of the invention, the clothing accessory generally comprises a cuff protection sleeve comprising an annular wall portion with an upper enlarged portion and an inwardly curved bottom lip defining a circular channel. The circular channel adapted to receive a respective bottom cuff of the pants. In addition, an inner fastening ring is provided comprising an external annular channel configured to couple with the upper enlarged portion of the cuff protection sleeve. Wherein, while in use, the fabric of the pants is pinched or sandwiched between the top enlarged portion of the cuff protection sleeve and the inner fastening ring while simultaneously engaging the cuff within the circular channel. Thereby, engaging the clothing accessory with the lower end portion and bottom cuff of the respective pant leg and providing a barrier between the pant leg and respective shoe.
PANT CUFF RAIN GUARD ACCESSORY
A protective pant cuff rain guard accessory that attaches to the user's ankle and extends upward protecting the lower pant and cuff from outside weather elements such as water, dirt, and grime. Moreover, optionally, the clothing accessory can display a decorative design to enhance the stylistic appeal of a pair of pants enabling the wearer to demonstrate personal style which may be interchangeable.
MEANS FOR SUPPORTING A TROUSER CREASE
A trouser leg comprising a slit that incorporates a stiffening element, the slit being positioned such that, in use, the slit sits either side of a wearer's shoe, which stabilises the stiffening element and causes it to resist lateral movement of the trouser leg above the shoe.
