Pressure probes and pressure measurements in airflow
A pressure probe includes a tube having an output end, an internal passage, an axial run, and pressure orifices axially aligned along a downstream side of the axial run. The pressure orifices are in communication with the output end through the internal passage and an upstream side of the axial run that is opposite from the downstream side of the axial run and does not include a pressure orifice. The downstream side is perpendicular to airflow.
GAS DETECTION SYSTEM WITH ELIMINATING INFLUENCE OF AMBIENT TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY CHANGES AND THE METHOD THEREOF
The invention provides a gas detection system and a method with eliminating influence of ambient temperature and humidity change, the gas detection system comprises a bare sensor, a reference sensor and a calculation module; the bare sensor is used to detect a target gas in an ambient gas to obtain a first feedback signal; the reference sensor is used to selectively isolate the target gas in the ambient gas to produce a zero gas and to detect the zero gas to obtain a second feedback signal, the calculation module is used to calculate a difference between the first feedback signal and the second feedback signal to obtain a third feedback signal, and to obtain a target gas concentration by calculating the third feedback signal according to a calibration formula. The invention improves the measurement accuracy to the target gas concentration, which are efficient and reliable and have good technical effects.

IN-SITU HIC GROWTH MONITORING PROBE
The present application concerns in-situ intrusive probe systems and methods. The probe systems described herein can be installed flush to a hydrocarbon containing structure, such as a pipeline, vessel, or other piping system carrying crude, gas or sour products. The probe systems include hydrogen induced cracking (HIC)-resistant microstructure such that as atomic hydrogen permeates the probe surface, the probe captures recombined hydrogen gas. The pressure of the resultant hydrogen gas buildup is measured and predictions as to the HIC activity of that area can be made.
