An article of clothing and a method of manufacture thereof, where, the article of clothing includes a weighted material inconspicuously disposed within a material forming the article, where the weighted material is configured to apply a therapeutic pressure to the body of a user when the article of clothing is worn.

GARMENT WITH ADJUSTABLE FEATURES
20210345712 · 2021-11-11 ·

Aspects herein are directed to an all-weather garment that includes a set of features that can be adjusted or manipulated to provide varying levels of warmth and/or protection from the elements enabling the garment to be worn over a wide range of weather and/or temperature conditions. In one example aspect, the garment may include one or more removable thermal insulation inserts. The inserts may be positioned within pockets positioned on the inner-facing surface of the garment when additional warmth and/or insulation is needed. When no longer needed, the inserts can be removed, folded, and stowed within, for instance, a detachable pocket structure located on the garment until needed again.

AIR MASK
20210339061 · 2021-11-04 ·

An air mask is applied for a user to wear and includes a wearable main body, an airflow generator and a face shield. The wearable main body has a front part and a rear part and includes an airflow channel, an air inputting port disposed on the rear part, and an air outputting port disposed on the front part. The airflow generator is coupled to the air inputting port and configured for generating and guiding airflow to the airflow channel. The face shield is coupled to the front part of the wearable main body and has an air chamber communicated with the air outputting port. When the user wears the air mask, the air inputting port is located on rear head of the user, the air outputting port is located on forehead of the user, and the airflow flows downward from the forehead of the user to the air chamber.

INSULATING DOUBLE-KNIT FABRIC

An insulating, double-knit fabric containing a first knit layer and a second knit layer coupled with the first knit layer through a plurality of first direction spaced apart rows in a first direction forming a plurality of air pockets in a grid pattern. The fabric also contains a plurality of intermediate fiber regions positioned in the plurality of air pockets, where each of the intermediate fiber regions contain a plurality of rows of multi-filament fibers extending parallel to at least one of the first and second knit layers.

HEAT BARRIER LAMINATE

A heat barrier laminate for use as a skin, the laminate comprising in the following order: a) a radiant barrier layer, b) a heat-insulating layer comprising a first polymer, c) a spacer layer comprising a fabric, and d) a heat-insulating layer comprising a second polymer, wherein the first polymer and/or the second polymer comprise a heat-insulating filler selected from hollow glass particles, hollow ceramic particles, hollow polymer particles, and a combination thereof.

Insulated vented garment formed using non-woven polymer sheets

Aspects herein provide for a method of manufacturing a vented insulated garment using non-woven polymer sheets and garments produced therefrom. The method generally comprises providing a non-woven polymer sheet having one or more voided portions, positioning the sheet between two textile layers, and bonding the textile layers together at areas corresponding to the voided portions in the non-woven polymer sheet to form a seam. The seam may be optionally perforated.

QUILTED INSULATING DIVING GLOVE

A diving glove includes quilted material defining a plurality of pockets. Each of the pockets is filled with aerogel beads. The glove may be worn underneath a waterproof layer in a dry diving suit. The glove includes multiple seams dividing the pockets. The seams are located to maintain a distribution of beads across the glove that effectively insulates the wearer's hand and prevents the beads from impeding the wearer's manual dexterity. The glove includes a web portion extending across a back side of the fingers. The web portion can be used to create an enclosed space for insulating the wearer's fingers.

Methods for stabilizing and garments including stabilized quilted insulation
11647801 · 2023-05-16 · ·

Methods for stabilizing insulation and constructing garments from the insulation are disclosed. Methods include arranging the fibers into a plurality of bundle structures. The fibers may be synthetic fibers. The method may include receiving the bundle structures into bundle channels. The bundle channels are formed by tacks. The bundle channels enable the uniform distribution of the bundle structures prior to stitching quilting stitch lines. Multiple quilting stitch lines are stitched after the bundle structures are uniformly distributed. The quilting stitch lines are orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the bundle structures. The quilting stitch lines provide lateral as well as longitudinal stabilization of the uniform density of the bundle structures. The distance between the quilting stitch lines may be based on the loft of the fibers and/or a required durability of the garment. The quilting stitch lines are generally horizontal, while the longitudinal axis of the bundle structures are vertical.

Insulating double-knit fabric

The invention related to an insulating, double-knit fabric having a width and a length and comprising a first knit layer and a second knit layer coupled with the first knit layer forming a plurality of rows of lofted fibers separated by rows of air spaces. The air spaces extend along the length of the insulating, double-knit fabric for the entire length of the fabric and the lofted fibers extend in a direction having an orthogonal component with respect to the at least one of the first knit layer and the second knit layer.
