Stretchable material, a manufacturing method of a stretch material, a stretchable member, and a clothing product
A stretch material according to one embodiment is a stretch material 10 including an elastomer and having multiple discretely formed slits 15. A stretchable member includes: a stretch part having a structure in which the skin layer of the stretch material 10 is plastically deformed; and a shape retaining part by which the layer structure of the stretch material 10 is maintained. A diaper, which is one example of a clothing product, includes the stretch material 10 or the abovementioned stretchable member.
Face Mask Having a Combined Biocidal and Electrostatic Treatment
A face mask having mechanical, chemical, and electrostatic barriers to the movement of a material into and out of a face mask are described herein. Various examples of the face mask described herein use electrostatic charges to capture and, in some examples, inactivate viruses, germs, fungi, or bacteria (or other material). The use of a biocidal agent combined with electrostatic charges provides an additional measure for capturing and inactivating at least a portion of pathogen(ic) microorganisms.
BREATHABLE BAFFLES
A composite material for an insulation baffle comprising a baffle layer comprising a plurality of baffle shell structures coupled to one another by spacers, wherein each of the baffle shell structures comprises a baffle face layer and a baffle back layer that define a cavity therebetween, and wherein the spacers define a breathablity zone having a higher air permeability than one or more of the baffle face layer and a baffle back layer measured in accordance with ASTM D737.
GARMENT COMPRISING AN INFLATABLE PROTECTION DEVICE
A garment (1) comprising an inflatable protection device (10) and a housing (2), the inflatable protection device (10) comprising at least one inflatable bag (12) housed in the housing (2) and designed to move between a rest condition, where it is in a deflated status and an operating condition, where it is in an inflated status and inflation means (14) connected with the inflatable bag (12) and designed, once triggered, for selectively inflating the inflatable bag (12). The at least one inflatable bag (12) is manufactured with an elastic material and, in said rest condition, occupies a limited portion of said housing (2).
MASK IMPROVEMENT
According to some embodiments, a protective face mask to protect medical personnel by filtering exhaled air of infectious patients is disclosed. The protective face mask comprises a first layer, a second layer and a third layer. The second layer comprises a molecular sieve desiccant. The molecular sieve desiccant is between 0.1 cm and 10 cm thick.
Article of Apparel
An article of apparel is formed that is effective to regulate the temperature of the wearer. In an embodiment, a thermal regulation composition is applied to a surface of a textile substrate at a first temperature and a first pressure to form a thermal regulation membrane disposed on the surface of the textile substrate. The textile substrate with the thermal regulation membrane is compressed at a second pressure and a second temperature to position a portion of the thermal regulation membrane below the surface of the textile substrate. The textile substrate is incorporated into an article of apparel. The thermal regulation composition can include one or more system reactive components provided within a binder, where a system reactive components can include a cooling agent, a latent heat agent and/or a heat dissipation agent.
NONWOVEN MATERIAL FOR FILTRATION AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A nonwoven fabric including a first layer made of spunbond fibers and a second layer made of meltblown fibers, wherein the first layer is bonded with the second layer, and wherein the spunbond fibers of the first layer are interspersed with the meltblown fibers of the second layer so that the nonwoven fabric exhibits enhanced breathability and filtration properties. In exemplary embodiments, the nonwoven fabric may be used in personal protective equipment, such as, for example, face masks and respirators.
Textile protective material of a new type and method for producing same
The invention relates to a textile protective material, in particular providing protection against radioactive harmful and/or toxic substances and/or against biological harmful and/or toxic substances and/or against chemical harmful and/or toxic substances, preferably a textile adsorption filter material, and to a method for the production thereof. The textile protective material is suitable in particular for producing protective equipment and protective objects and filters and filter materials of all types.
Adjustable Face Mask
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to an adjustable face mask including a body formed of one or more panels of material, and includes one or more sets of ear apertures. The face mask can include an outer set of ear apertures disposed further from a central vertical axis and an inner set of ear apertures disposed closer to the central vertical axis. A user can select the set of ear apertures that is most comfortable for insertion of the ears to secure the face mask to the user's face. The adjustable face mask can be formed from a single piece of material without any need for sewing, stitching, or the like. The face mask can further include one or more materials that display one of antimicrobial properties, moisture absorbent properties, moisture wicking properties, or water repellent properties.
Hood including particle barrier
Disclosed are protective hoods including particle barrier layers to reduce or prevent penetration of the hoods by particulates in the environment of a wearer. The particle barrier layer of a hood is accessible when the hood is intact. A hood described herein optionally includes an aperture for accessing the particle barrier layer. A hood described herein optionally includes a face opening that engages with a face mask to form a protective seal. A hood described herein optionally includes a visual indicator to indicate when the hood is properly positioned with respect to a face mask.
