Expandable and Flexible Garment Yoke and Garment With Same
A garment has a yoke attached to the garment body, wherein the yoke is formed from a material having stretch and recovery in at least two directions thereof. The material may be formed from a fusible substrate combined with a particular fabric having stretch properties. The yoke may have an inner piece and an outer piece having substantially the same shape and size as the inner piece, and wherein at least one of the inner piece and the outer piece is formed from a material formed from a fusible substrate combined with a particular fabric having stretch properties. The garment body includes a back and a front, and the yoke includes at least one back portion configured with the back of the garment body, and at least one front portion configured with the front of the garment body. The first material has stretch and recovery properties at offset angles with respect to the at least one direction
Breathable face mask
A face mask face mask is configured to be worn on a human head and includes a face shield and at least one mounting strap. The face shield includes a multi-layer body portion comprising an outer layer, a middle layer and an inner layer. The outer layer is provided by a stitched fabric spacer, the middle layer provided by an open cell foam, and the inner layer provided a stretch fabric. The at least one mounting strap is an ear loop provided by a free-cut piece of fabric defined by an elongated narrow center portion positioned between an enlarged first end and an enlarged second end opposite the first end.
FORM-FITTING GARMENT
A form-fitting garment with an elastic fabric having a first modulus of elasticity, the form-fitting garment when worn by a user generates an elastic tension pressing the fabric against a user's body; and provides a pattern of elastic bonding material having a second modulus of elasticity so that the elastic bonding material is bonded to the elastic fabric to form a composite garment material that has the elastic fabric as a first layer and the elastic bonding material as a second layer. A joint third modulus of elasticity of the composite material is more than twice the elastic fabric's first modulus of elasticity so that the elastic tension pressing the fabric against the user's body forms a pattern of pressure spaces of higher pressure where bonding material is located in comparison to spaces where no bonding material is located.
Method of forming an article of apparel
An article of apparel includes a composite material. The composite material includes a pliable first layer and a resilient second layer, where the first and second layers are secured to each other via a patterned strand network. In forming the composite material, the second layer is stretched and maintained under tension while the first layer is secured to the second layer via the patterned strand network. The tension on the second layer is then released, resulting in contraction of the second layer in relation to the first layer and an outward buckling or protrusion of the first layer in relation to the second layer to form protruding cells along the composite material that are bounded by portions of the patterned strand network. The patterned strand network can be formed using embroidery with one or more auxetic patterns in the stitching.
Waistband construction and methods for producing same
A waistband of an article of clothing including an inner fabric layer, and an outer fabric layer integrally formed or coupled with the inner fabric layer. The waistband also includes a mesh layer disposed between the inner and outer fabric layers. The waistband further includes one or more adhesive layers disposed between the mesh layer and the inner fabric layer, and configured to couple the mesh layer with the inner fabric layer and to enhance elastic strength of the waistband.
Therapeutic shirt with high compression material positioned over externally accessed pockets housing custom heat/cold packs
A garment for treating (heating/cooling/compressing) one or more regions of a wearer's body includes a primary layer, particularly located layer/layers of higher compression materials, and a liner creating a pocket. An interior surface of the primary layer, an elastic, applies a first level of compression to a portion of the wearer's body, including the treatment region(s). The layer(s) of higher compression material(s) on the interior surface of the primary layer overlay and extend beyond the treatment region(s), applying a second, higher level of compression. The primary layer has an opening adjacent to the higher compression material(s). A first peripheral portion of the liner is secured to the interior of the primary layer and extends over the opening, with a second peripheral portion extending over only a portion of a periphery of the higher compression material(s), being secured thereto to form a gonfalon-shaped pocket that receives a correspondingly shaped heat/cold pack.
Article of apparel
An article of apparel includes a first layer and a second layer. The first layer includes a four way stretch material. The second layer, coupled to the first layer, includes an auxetic layer.
High-elastic, Lightweight and Comfortable Underwear and A Production Process Thereof
The invention disclosed a high-elastic, lightweight and comfortable underwear and a production process thereof, comprising underwear inner-layer and underwear outer-layer, wherein elastomeric strips are provided between the underwear inner-layer and underwear outer-layer. The production process comprises the following steps: 1) printing the elastomeric strip shapes; 2) pressing elastomeric strips; 3) cutting residual material; 4) finishing garment. Compared to the prior, the invention has the following advantageous effects: the invention is with simple structure and easy to manufacture, the invention can provide sufficient support and sufficient binding force for users while the skin is not be squeezed, the elastomeric strips can replace traditional rubber bands, steel rings, stabilized yarn, and etc, which has high-quality support performance to achieve shaping effect, and has excellent elasticity and resilience to facilitate design and manufacture with no worries of size, moreover, the invention is washable and not easy to deform.
EXERCISING GARMENT
An exercising garment comprising resistance bands configured to stretch from a relaxed position to a resistance position. The resistance bands can be coupled to a modified pants. The pants may comprise an additional strip of fabric located within each pant leg defining a channel configured to receive and secure the integral exercising resistance bands. The resistance bands having a first end positioned at a location near the waist height of a user and a second end positioned at a location near the foot height of the user. The second end may include loops for removably inserting the user's feet.
GARMENT COMPRISING AN INFLATABLE PROTECTION DEVICE
A garment (1) comprising an inflatable protection device (10) and a housing (2), the inflatable protection device (10) comprising at least one inflatable bag (12) housed in the housing (2) and designed to move between a rest condition, where it is in a deflated status and an operating condition, where it is in an inflated status and inflation means (14) connected with the inflatable bag (12) and designed, once triggered, for selectively inflating the inflatable bag (12). The at least one inflatable bag (12) is manufactured with an elastic material and, in said rest condition, occupies a limited portion of said housing (2).
