Adjustable sleeve support shirt
An adjustable support shirt comprising a shirt body and a pair of shirt body sleeves positioned adjacent to an upper portion of the shirt body is provided. The sleeves include a first end attached to the shirt body at sleeve body holes and a second end having a sleeve opening circumference. Each of the sleeves includes at least one adjustable member which extends generally longitudinally along at least a portion of the sleeves. The at least one adjustable member is adapted to increase or decrease the sleeve opening circumference.
GLOVE WITH ELASTIC BACKFINGER
The present invention provides a lightweight glove for baseball or softball that may include an elastic backfinger to provide a conforming fit to the wearer's hand. In general, the elastic backfinger may replace existing, often leather backfingers, the back panel, the liner, and/or other elements of traditional gloves glove with the elastic material, combination of elastic materials, or combination of elastic and inelastic materials.
Article of apparel
An article of apparel is configured to be worn on a torso of a wearer. The article of apparel includes a plurality of textile panels including a first textile panel and a second textile panel. The first textile panel is spaced apart from the second textile panel to define a gap between the first textile panel and the second textile panel on the article of apparel. An elastic textile material spans the gap and extends from the first textile panel to the second textile panel on the article of apparel. The first textile panel and the second textile panel possess a first elongation value, and the elastic textile material possesses a second elongation value that is greater than the first elongation value.
Disposable padded tape
Disclosed herein are devices for preventing or treating an injury to an individual. Also provided are devices and methods for alleviating pain or discomfort caused by equipment or other padding or articles of clothing or uniform. The device can include a disposable padded tape having a plurality of force absorbing zones. It can also include an adhesive layer for attaching the device to a body contacting surface.
Dynamic Socks and Associated Methods
The present disclosure relates to a dynamic sock, pantyhose, athletic pants/leggings or similar clothing, designed to increase propulsion or restrict motion in human gait as would be advantageous in athletic, lifestyle, medical or similar applications. Similarly, the described invention would be advantageous in sedentary applications to restrict joint angle for various pathologies. The exemplary sock includes an integrated propulsion/tension band with increased elastic/compression/tension capability at specific parts of the foot, ankle and lower leg to increase the tension at the dorsiflexion, midstance or plantarflexion phase of the gait cycle or restrict joint excursion in medical applications to thereby increase the rate, amount and force of plantarflexion or dorsiflexion or restrict motion in the sagittal, transverse or horizontal planes.
Articles of apparel providing enhanced body position feedback
Articles of apparel include: (a) a garment structure having one or more fabric elements structured and arranged to provide a close fit to at least one predetermined portion of a body (e.g., area(s) of the body for which enhanced position sensing and/or feedback are desired); and (b) a body position feedback system engaged with or integrally formed as part of the garment structure. The body position feedback system may apply higher tensile or constricting (compressive) forces to selected portions of the wearer's body and/or stretch resistance, which can help stimulate or interact with nerves and deep tissue receptors located in various portions of the body. The increased forces at selected locations of the body give the wearer sensory feedback regarding the position or orientation of these parts of the body and can improve or accelerate development of “muscle memory.”
Cycling jersey
A cycling garment, said garment being a jersey, a jacket or a vest having a structure realized with an outer fabric layer and further comprising an inner fabric layer having different breathability properties from the outer layer, wherein the inner layer is internally joined to the outer layer and forms an inner lining of at least part of said cycling garment.
Trilobal Waterproof Breathable Laminated Stretch Fabric
A woven polyester fabric with a trilobal construction and a 5% elastane content, and an outer laminated layer of polyurethane, with 250 GSM insulation. The fabric and clothing made from the fabric is waterproof, breathable, stretchable in 4 directions, and insulating to −50 degrees Celsius. The fabric meets the standards defined by the testing standards ASTM D2034-2009; ASTM D1424-2009: ASTM D434-1995; ASTM D4970/D4970M-2010c1, ASTM D3107-07(R2011), AATCC 127, and JIS L1099 Method B-1:2006.
Swimsuit with tension bands and reinforcement liners
A swimsuit for competition swimming is contemplated as being formed with a network of tension bands disposed interior to the external surface of the swimsuit for storing energy and resisting motion, and with a plurality of reinforcement liners configured to complement the functionality of the network of tension bands while maintaining strength and flexibility in targeted locations while prevent intrusion of water from being retained within the components of the suit through a network of strategically positioned drains. The swimsuit may optimize the swimmer's swimming motion with reduced discomfort and without degrading prematurely due to wear.
Smoothing and enhancing lower garment
A lower garment for a female person includes an interior layer that comprises one or more elastic fabric panels encircling the person's waist and at least a portion of the person's stomach. The interior layer extends downward to at least the top of the person's upper thighs around the person's legs. The interior layer has an inside surface for contacting the person's skin, and an outside surface. A resilient crotch insert extends from an inseam of the interior layer forward to substantially cover the person's labia and is adapted to present a smooth front surface. An exterior layer is applied to the outside surface of the interior layer and the front surface of the crotch insert. The interior layer may include two buttocks pocket openings that each define a buttocks pocket adapted for receiving a resilient shaping insert that covers at least a portion of the person's buttocks.
