ELEMENTAL ANALYSIS DEVICE, METHOD FOR OPERATING ELEMENTAL ANALYSIS DEVICE, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM FOR OPERATING ELEMENTAL ANALYSIS DEVICE
A purging mechanism includes an injection channel through which a purge gas is injected into a heating furnace, a discharge channel that connects the heating furnace to outside air to discharge the purge gas having been injected into the heating furnace to the outside air, and a purge gas flow rate adjusting mechanism by which a flow rate of the purge gas is adjusted by changing a flow resistance of the discharge channel between a plurality of levels, or continuously.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASURING CONCENTRATION OF OXIDANT AND SYSTEM FOR CLEANING ELECTRONIC MATERIAL
To measure the concentration of an oxidant in an oxidative cleaning liquid used in a process of cleaning an electronic material in a simple, easy, consistent, and accurate manner without being affected by impurities included in the cleaning liquid, such as metals. A method for measuring the concentration of an oxidant in a sample liquid used as a cleaning liquid in a process of cleaning an electronic material includes decomposing at least part of an oxidant included in the sample liquid by heating or the like; measuring the amount of oxygen gas generated by decomposition of the oxidant; and determining the concentration of the oxidant in the sample liquid on the basis of the amount of the oxygen gas.

Characterization of blood hemostasis and oxygen transport parameters
An integrated system for determining a hemostasis and oxygen transport parameter of a blood sample, such as blood, is disclosed. The system includes a measurement system, such as an ultrasonic sensor, configured to determine data characterizing the blood sample. For example, the data could be displacement of the blood sample in response to ultrasonic pulses. An integrated aspect of the system may be a common sensor, sample portion or data for fast and efficient determination of both parameters. The parameters can also be used to correct or improve measured parameters. For example, physiological adjustments may be applied to the hemostatic parameters using a HCT measurement. Also, physical adjustments may be applied, such as through calibration using a speed or attenuation of the sound pulse through or by the blood sample. These parameters may be displayed on a GUI to guide treatment.

A sensor for detecting the oxygen content in the intake tract of an internal combustion engine includes: a sensor element having a measurement electrode; a metal cap that surrounds the sensor element; a heat dissipation element that connects the sensor element and the metal cap; and a bracket for the sensor element. The bracket is in the form of a plastic housing configured to accommodate evaluation electronics for the sensor element.
Device and method for detecting cigarette fly ash by gray-scale difference based on machine vision (MV)
A device and a method for detecting cigarette fly ash by a gray-scale difference based on machine vision (MV) are provided. A manipulator holds a cigarette as a detection sample to simulate a human smoking action, and multiple groups of cameras track a simulated smoking process of the detection sample synchronously in real time. It is determined whether fly ash appears based on a gray-scale difference of burning ash columns, produced without being subjected to flicking, in acquired images. A fly ash area of the burning ash columns of the cigarette is calculated by an area with the gray-scale difference of the burning ash columns of the cigarette in two sequential images of the burning ash columns of the cigarette, and a fly ash amount is further determined. The detection of the amount of fine fly ash is converted into the detection of the gray-scale difference.
