CAPACITIVE FILLING LEVEL PROBE WITHOUT DEAD ZONE

A filling level measuring device, a method for capacitive filling level measurement of filling material in a container that includes a counter electrode integrated therein using a filling level probe, and a method for calibrating a filling level probe, include introducing the filling level probe into the container, the filling level probe having a first and a second electrode provided thereon and spaced apart from one another and extending one after the other and substantially parallel to the counter electrode such that a measurement section is defined along the first and second electrodes and the spacing therebetween. The filling level probe can be operated in a first, second, or third measurement mode, by being able to switch over between a measurement potential or a shielding potential that can each be applied to the first and second electrodes, respectively, while a counter electrode potential is always applied to the counter electrode. For calibrating the filling level probe, relative changes in capacitance are determined between an empty container and a maximum filling level. For capacitive filling level measurement, relative changes in capacitance as measured using a calibrated filling level probe in each of the three measurement modes compared to an empty container are used to calculate the filling level.

A medical analysis method uses a medical analysis machine provided with a poly-articulated robot (70) comprising joints defining at least six axes of rotation (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6) and adapted for spacing and/or orienting a terminal member (66) according to six degrees of freedom, the terminal member bearing a grasping member (78) adapted for grasping a container (16). The medical analysis method comprises at least the succession of steps consisting of providing a container (16) containing a sample to be treated stemming from a human being or an animal, transferring said container (16) towards at least one treatment station of the medical analysis machine (100) by means of the poly-articulated robot, treating the sample in a treatment station, transferring the container towards a station for capturing images, and displaying the treatment results through a user interface.

AUTOMATIC ANALYZER AND CONTROL PROGRAM FOR AUTOMATIC ANALYZER

The invention has an object to provide an automatic analyzer and a control program that can shorten total analysis time. The automatic analyzer comprises: a sample rack that houses a sample; a sample dispensing mechanism that aspirates the sample from the sample rack and dispenses the sample into a reaction container; a plurality of detection units that detect a reaction liquid in the reaction container; and a control unit that controls the sample dispensing mechanism and the detection units. The control unit checks the measurement item specified for the sample and checks one of the detection units that is specified by the measurement item. When measurements specifying the same detection unit among the detection units are specified consecutively, the order of dispensing by the sample dispensing mechanism is changed so that measurements specifying different detection units are made consecutively.
