A method of attaching hair extensions includes sectioning, beading, securing, and stitching hair extensions into a client's hair. Sectioning allows a hairdresser to properly place the hair extension, which creates beads that are unseen. The beads may be placed so as to allow a flexible groove to place the wefts. Securing the wefts includes a pattern of stitching that places a stitch at a side, middle, opposite side, and between the beads. This stitching pattern promotes secure wefts as well as prevents damage to scalp and hair.

An apparatus includes a strip of a polymer material having a front side and a back side. A plurality of hair strands are inserted into the front side, where the hair strands are secured to the strip and substantially cover the front side. At least one hair clip is joined to the back side. The at least one hair clip is operable for removably attaching to a user's hair.

This disclosure concerns a hair extension unit, and a related method for manufacture thereof, wherein a plurality of rows containing human or synthetic hair are each attached to a band in order from a bottom end of the band to a top end thereof, one above another, and one or a plurality of clips are further attached to the band at a side opposite the rows of hair.

A hair piece of artificial, animal or natural hair or a combination thereof wherein the hair piece is configured to be used as a removable hair piece such as a ponytail or hair extension. The hair piece may include an attachment member for attachment to the ponytail of a user. The hair piece may further include a bendable spine member to allow the user to adjust the configuration of the hair piece. The disclosure includes embodiments of a semi-permanent hair extension apparatus and a method or installing the same. The semi-permanent hair extension apparatus can include a plurality of microbeads and a plurality of hair extension wefts. The plurality of microbeads can each include an opening for receiving a plurality of strands of human hair longitudinally therethrough, and a receiving component positioned thereon so as to releasably connect the microbead to a hair extension weft. Each of the plurality of hair extension wefts can include a plurality of strands of hair connected thereto and one or more fastening components positioned thereon and being complementary to each of the one or more receiving components so as to facilitate a removable connection therebetween. The method can include securing a plurality of microbeads to one or more strands of human hair at predetermined intervals and connecting extension wefts to each of the plurality of microbeads.

Encapsulated hair bands and methods for use are disclosed. An encapsulated hair band includes an encapsulated hair band, including: a horseshoe shaped hair band, having a proximal and distal end, the hair band including, flexible material capable of flexing outwardly whereby the proximal and distal ends may be displaced from an unbiased position to a biased position to fit about the wearer's head; a soft gel; and a cover, including two or more pieces, cooperating to form a cover, the two or more pieces fastened together so as to encapsulate said horseshoe shaped hair band and said soft gel, said soft gel encapsulated so that when the encapsulated hair band is placed upon the wearer's head, the soft gel is between the horseshoe shaped hair band and the cover.

A hair extension assembly for attachment to a user's hair, includes a first portion including a hair extension strip having a first side to which a first weft of hair is attached; and a second portion including a second hair extension strip having a first side to which a second weft of hair is attached. The first and second portions each include a second side. At least one of the strips includes fasteners on the second side and the other of the strips includes a complementary surface that may include includes fasteners on the second side. The fasteners matingly engage the first and second portions, with the user's hair disposed between the first and second strips when the first and second portions matingly engage.

A hair component for use within a ponytail comprising at one end (1) means that can be pushed through the band used to create the ponytail joined to a second end (2) by a narrower neck section (5) so that the band is retained within the ponytail by the band between the two ends (1,2), the means at the second end (2) can be attached to a segment of hair so providing a hair extension. A hair extension comprising the attachment provided with a segment of hair is also provided.
