THC-ALCOHOL APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
The invention comprises a method and apparatus for forming a Cannabis product, comprising the steps of: combining tetrahydrocannabinol and ethanol to form a THC-alcohol compound, the THC-alcohol compound comprising less than fifty percent water by mass and subjecting the THC-alcohol compound to a shear force in excess of 100 or 50,000 sec.sup.−1. Optionally and preferably, formation of the Cannabis product results after successive steps of reducing viscosity of the tetrahydrocannabinol compound, such as by 2000+ cP and 20+ cP, or after reversing a first viscosity reducing step of 2000+ cP with a subsequent viscosity increase of 2000+ cP, such as in the formation of a THC containing drink, edible, vape pen solution, or preroll.
NON-COMBUSTIBLE CIGARETTE BASED ON FLOCKING TECHNOLOGY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A non-combustible cigarette based on flocking technology and a manufacturing method of the cigarette are disclosed. The cigarette includes a cigarette paper layer, which is a hollow cylindrical structure. The inner wall of the cigarette paper layer is provided with an adhesive layer, and tobacco filler granules, tobacco filler filaments or tobacco filler fibers are fixedly bonded on the adhesive layer. The manufacturing method includes a flocking process and a cigarette-rolling process. The process automatically flocks filamentous, fibrous or granular tobacco to the surface of the cigarette paper, and then connects to the cigarette-rolling process to obtain the non-combustible cigarette. When the cigarette is filled with the tobacco filler granules, the complex process of using a plugging device at the open end of the cigarette is eliminated.
LOW IGNITION PROPENSITY CIGARETTE PAPER AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
A wrapper of a smoking article includes a base web and at least one transverse banded region. The banded region includes a first zone, a second zone and a third zone of add-on material. The second zone has about 25% to about 75% less add-on material than the first zone and the third zone. The banded region is about 5 mm to about 9 mm wide and the second zone is centrally located between the first zone and the third zone. The second zone includes a plurality of dots of the add-on material spaced from adjacent dots in the second zone by a distance greater than a distance between adjacent dots in the first zone and the third zone.
MODIFIED AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE WITH FLAME RETARDANT WRAPPER
An aerosol-generating article is provided for producing an inhalable aerosol upon heating, the article including: a rod of aerosol-generating substrate extending from a rod proximal end to a rod distal end upstream from the proximal end; a downstream section downstream of the rod; and a wrapper circumscribing at least the rod, the wrapper including a wrapping base material having a basis weight, at least a treated portion of the wrapper extending between the rod proximal and distal ends includes a flame retardant composition including one or more flame retardant compounds, such that the treated portion has an overall basis weight greater than the basis weight of the wrapping base material, and in which the treated portion extends over at least about 90 percent of an outer surface area of the rod. A method of manufacturing an aerosol-generating article for generating an inhalable aerosol upon heating is also provided.

The disclosed embodiments relate generally to herbal smoking blends and methods for preparing and using herbal smoking blends. Some embodiments relate to a method of preparing an herbal smoking blend, comprising providing a smoking herb preparation comprising cannabis, providing a terpenoid solution comprising at least one terpenoid, providing one or more mercaptans or one or more flavonoids, and adding the terpenoid solution and adding the one or more mercaptans or the one or more flavonoids to the smoking herb preparation. Other embodiments are also included within the scope of the invention.
Low ignition propensity cigarette paper and manufacture thereof
A wrapper of a smoking article includes a base web and at least one transverse banded region. The banded region includes a first zone, a second zone and a third zone of add-on material. SMOKING ROLLING PAPER AND A METHOD FOR PACKAGING THE SAME
A smoking rolling paper and a method for rolling and packaging the same is provided. The smoking rolling paper is rolled into cylindrical shape and placed within an enveloping means. The smoking rolling paper is wrapped into cylindrical form causing the cigar tobacco paper to form a plurality of layers, wherein said layer comprises a double strip section. The rolled smoking rolling paper is then placed inside an enveloping means. The encased smoking rolling paper within the enveloping means allows for the smoking rolling paper to keep a cylindrical shape until delivered and used by a consumer. The enveloping means may maintain the moisture for longer time due to the rolling method prior to delivery to a consumer.
Smoking Article Wrapper
A smoking article wrapper includes at least one coated surface area and at least one non-coated surface area, wherein the smoking article wrapper is combustible and provides a mean volumetric flow rate of at least 40 CU, wherein the at least one coated surface area provides a glossiness of at least 4 GU, the at least one non-coated surface area provides a glossiness of less than 4 GU and the difference of glossiness between the at least one coated surface area and the at least one non-coated surface area is more than 2 GU. A smoking article includes such a smoking article wrapper. A method for producing a smoking article includes such a smoking article wrapper by printing a polymer on parts of the smoking article wrapper by flexography.
NON-STICKING TIPPING PAPER, PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION METHOD OF THE SAME
A non-sticking lip tipping paper is disclosed that includes a base paper, a color layer and a surface coating. The color layer is formed by printing and drying a color ink on the base paper; the surface coating includes a water-based glue and is coated thereon after drying the color layer. The water-based glue includes the following components by weight: 30-65 parts of a modified water-based resin solution, 10-20 parts of water, 8-15 parts of ethanol, and 5-12 parts of a water-based additive. The water-based additive is a mixture of a wax emulsion and magnesium silicate in a weight ratio of 1:5. A preparation method and a method of applying the non-sticking lip tipping paper are also disclosed.
HIGH VISCOSITY THC PRODUCT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
The invention comprises a method and apparatus for forming a Cannabis product, comprising the steps of: providing a tetrahydrocannabinol concentrate, the tetrahydrocannabinol concentrate comprising: a purity of at least forty percent and a tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) viscosity in excess of 4,000 centipoise at 25° C.; combining with the tetrahydrocannabinol concentrate a second substance, the second substance comprising a second substance viscosity less than the THC viscosity to form a THC compound; heating the THC compound to greater than 40° C. to yield a THC compound viscosity of less than 1,000 centipoise; and adding the THC compound to a product substance to form a THC containing product, the THC containing product comprising a THC containing product viscosity greater than 5,000 centipoise at 25° C.
