In one embodiment of an aircraft emergency oxygen delivery system, power can be generated by the flow of gas over a transducer disposed inside an oxygen delivery tube. A pressure differential gives rise to a temperature difference across the transducer, and the temperature difference can be converted to a voltage. Oxygen flow to a mask may be adjusted based on ambient oxygen content and data collected from a passenger wearing the mask, including a blood oxygen saturation level, pulse or respiration rate.
Systems and methods for measuring environmental parameters
The present disclosure describes various systems and methods for measuring environmental parameters. In one embodiment, such as system comprises a pole that is equipped with various instruments (sensors) at various heights along the length of the pole. With such an instrumented pole, a local vertical profile of parameters that relate to wind conditions and air quality can be obtained. These parameters can include one or more of wind speed and direction, air turbulence, air temperature and humidity, concentrations of pollutant gases within the air, and concentrations of pollutant particles within the air. In some embodiments, the system can further measure other parameters that are relevant to the migration of the air and, therefore, the pollutants it contains.
VISUALIZATION DEVICE AND OBSERVATION METHOD FOR FLOW FIELD
A visualization device for a flow field includes a chamber, a power supply, at least one pair of electrodes, and at least one flow field observation module. The flow field observation module includes a high-speed camera, a light detecting component, and a light filter component. The power supply outputs a voltage to generate a plasma, and the pair of electrodes is disposed in the chamber. The flow field observation module is disposed outside the chamber and captures an image of a fluid particle excited by the plasma toward the chamber. The light filter component is disposed between the high-speed camera and the chamber. The light detecting component obtains a light information within the chamber and sends the light information to the light filter component.

A method for providing air quality information is disclosed. The method includes steps of collecting single-point air quality data from a plurality of mobile devices in a predetermined period of time, wherein the single-point air quality data is sensed by an actuating and sensing module of the mobile device and transmitted to a cloud data processing device through communication transmission. The single-point air quality data is combined with geographic information and processed to generate a real-time air quality map by the cloud data processing device. After the cloud data processing device receives a current location from a client device through communication transmission, information including a motion direction, a designated route, air quality information related to the current location, abnormal-air-quality notification or an evacuated route is transmitted to the client device.
