A Visual Communication System for a Helmet
The present disclosure relates to a visual communication system for a helmet comprising: an array of light emitting devices arranged inside the helmet in a manner such that light emitted by the light emitting device is visible by a user of the helmet; a data communication interface arranged to receive situational related data form one or more sources; and a processing module arranged to process the situational related data and generate a light signal providing driving or riding guidance to the user of the helmet.
Helmet mounted display
An apparatus having a mounting system and a helmet mounted display. The mounting system including a mounting plate and a mounting rocker. The helmet mounted display including a housing; latching tabs; an optical element having a combiner surface; at least one processor; and at least one memory including software, the at least one memory and software configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to display heads up information on the combiner surface. The optical element is housed within a second portion of the housing being hingedly attached to the first portion of the housing. The apparatus is configured such that the combiner surface is positionable within the field of view of a wearer of the helmet. Related assemblies and methods are described.
Smart window, sliding smart window, smart window for vehicle, sun visor for vehicle, smart window device, and head mounted smart window device
Provided are a smart window, a sliding smart window, a smart window for a vehicle, a sun visor for a vehicle, a smart window device, and a head-mounted smart window device which have maximized user convenience.
Helmet accessory mounting system
A helmet accessory mounting system includes a mounting device configured to couple to an outer surface of a side of a helmet. The mounting device includes a plurality of mounting locations configured to removeably couple to at least one accessory. A plurality of the plurality of mounting locations each includes an electrical node. A power supply is coupled to the mounting device. An electrical supply line electrically couples the power supply to each of the electrical nodes and the electrical supply line is contained at least partially within the mounting device.
HOLDING ELEMENT FOR A CAMERA AND CAMERA ARRANGEMENT, HOLDING ELEMENT AND A HELMET
Brackets for cameras on ski helmets must, on the one hand, hold the camera securely on the helmet and on the other hand, also permit a releasable attachment. To further develop such a bracket, the bracket includes a release unit, which when a defined load on the camera is exceeded, the camera is released from the bracket at a defined point. As a result, the forces occurring in the event of a crash are transferred from the camera via the bracket to the helmet up to a defined limit only. Injuries when wearing the helmet are thus avoided.
Head-mounted display device
A head-mounted display device includes a display assembly, a rotating assembly, and a fixed assembly. The rotating assembly is connected to the display assembly and includes a motor holder, a motor and a first connecting element. The motor is disposed on the motor holder. The first connecting element has a first accommodating portion and a second accommodating portion, wherein the first connecting element receives a part of the motor and the second connecting element receives a part of the motor holder. The fixed assembly is connected to the rotating assembly. The rotating assembly rotates the display assembly relative to the fixed assembly.
AN APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING AN OUTPUT FROM A DISPLAY
The present invention relates to a head-mountable visual accessory for displaying an image to a user from a portable display unit comprising: (a) a compartment for an image display unit; (b) at least one mirror for reflecting an image from said display unit; (c) adjustment means for adjusting the reflection of said image from said display unit to the eye of said user; (d) a structure for holding said at least one mirror, and said adjusting means for reflecting said image to said eye of the user of said visual accessory.
HEAD MOUNTABLE CAMERA SYSTEM
A head mountable camera system includes a head covering and a camera system removably attached to the head covering in an inner space. The camera system includes a band, a camera within an interior cavity of the band including a lens exposed through a first surface of the band and exposed through at least one opening in the first surface of the head covering, a controller within the interior cavity for controlling the at least one camera, a power source within the interior cavity configured to power the controller and the at least one camera, and electrical connections connecting the controller, the power source, and the at least one camera together.
HEADGEAR SHROUD ASSEMBLY
A shroud assembly for headgear includes a frame having a first side configured to face toward an exterior surface of the headgear and a second side opposite the first side and configured to face away from the headgear, the first side having a shape that matches a contour of the headgear. An insert separately formed from the frame is removably attached to the first side of the frame, the insert configured for removable attachment to a mounting assembly. The frame includes first and second spaced apart walls disposed on the front side of the frame on opposite sides of the insert, the first and second walls spaced a sufficient distance apart to provide an interference fit between the mounting assembly and the first and second spaced apart walls.
