MACHINE VENDIBLE EXPANDABLE HELMET AND MANUFACTURE OF SAME
A bicycle helmet that fits over a surface of a head of a user generally includes a segment of flexible cell structures that form a radial honeycomb matrix movable between a folded condition where each side of the segment is disposed generally parallel and an expanded condition where the radial honeycomb matrix of the segment is configured to be expanded at least partially over the head of the user and arranged radially relative to the surface of the head of the user. The bicycle helmet includes a first and second side frame disposed respectively at the first and second ends of the honeycomb matrix. A sliding latch permits selective translation of the first and second side frames.
ACTIVATION SYSTEM FOR WEARABLE AIRBAG
An airbag system for protecting a body part of a user in case of an accident is provided, including an airbag arranged as a collar. The collar includes a first fastening body and a second fastening body. The first fastening body has at least one magnet arranged near at least one sensor, and the second fastening body includes a shield operable to magnetically shield the at least one sensor from the at least one magnet.
Headband and multifunctional helmet
The present disclosure relates to the field of riding equipment, and particularly to a headband and a multifunctional helmet. The headband comprises a strap configured to bind a head, an adjustment assembly that adjusts the tightness of the strap, and an electronic device that endows the headband with intelligent properties. The strap is connected to the adjustment assembly, and the electronic device is disposed within the adjustment assembly and connected to the adjustment assembly. The headband is an accessory of the helmet, electronic devices are combined with the headband such that the headband has electronic functions associated therewith, expanding the use range of the headband.
Selective ventilation helmet for cycling use
The present invention concerns a selective ventilation helmet of the type having a cap structure provided with a plurality of splits which make ventilation channels passing from the inside to the outside of the helmet, A selector is also provided, which is arranged at the splits and moveable with respect to the cap structure between a closing position of the ventilation channels and a position for at least partly opening the ventilation channels, wherein the selector is moveable on a guide integrated in the said cap at the splits.
Sweat removal apparatus
An apparatus is described to divert sweat away from a wearer's eyes or eyewear. The apparatus includes an elongate base member and a plurality of pliable ridges abutting the base member that, when pressed against the wearer's forehead, form channels. The channels collect and divert sweat away from the eyes so that the sweat drips down the side or back of the head, or down the nose, instead of flowing into the eyes or onto eyewear worn by the wearer.
CYCLING HELMET
A cycling helmet includes an outer shell and a closed cell foam layer adjacent to the outer shell. The cycling helmet also includes an inner liner adjacent to the closed cell foam layer. The cycling helmet further includes an insert of energy absorbing material adjacent to the inner liner. The insert is configured to move in multiple directions in response to an impact to the cycling helmet.
MULTI-BODY HELMET CONSTRUCTION AND STRAP ATTACHMENT METHOD
A helmet may include an upper-body comprising a first outer shell coupled to a first energy-absorbing shell formed of expanded polypropylene (EPP), expanded polystyrene (EPS), expanded polyurethane (EPU), or expanded polyolefin (EPO). A lower-body may include a second outer shell coupled to a second energy-absorbing shell formed of EPP, EPS, EPU, or EPO, wherein an upper portion of the lower-body is nested within the upper-body and a lower portion of the lower-body extends to an outer surface of a lower portion of the upper-body. A strap anchor may be disposed between the upper-body and the lower-body, and be sandwiched between the upper-body and the lower-body with the strap anchor being adjacent to, and oriented towards, the lower-body. A strap may be coupled to the fastening device and coupled to the strap anchor for coupling the helmet to a head of a user.
Helmet with Sliding Facilitator Arranged at Energy Absorbing Layer
A helmet comprising an energy absorbing layer (2) and a sliding facilitator (5) is provided The sliding facilitator is provided inside of the energy absorbing (2). A method of manufacturing a helmet comprising a sliding facilitator is farther provided The method comprising the steps of providing an energy absorbing layer in the mould, and providing a sliding facilitator for contacting the energy absorbing layer.
Machine-vendible foldable bicycle helmet methods and systems
A bicycle helmet that fits over a surface of a head of a user generally includes at least one segment of flexible cell structures that form a radial honeycomb matrix movable between a folded condition where each side of the at least one segment is disposed generally parallel and an expanded condition where the radial honeycomb matrix of the at least one segment is configured to be expanded at least partially over the head of the user and arranged radially relative to the surface of the head of the user.
