HEADBAND HAVING INTEGRATED FUNCTIONAL CUSHION CASE
The present invention relates to a headband including an adjustment band which is worn on a wearer's head and has the length adjusted; a support band which is connected to the adjustment band and is supported on the upper part of the wearer's head; and a length adjustment lever for adjusting the length of the adjustment band, wherein a cushion case of a flexible resilient material is integrally formed on the length adjustment lever.
FUNCTIONAL/MULTI-PURPOSE HEAD CUSHION FOR HEADBAND
The present invention relates to a functional/multi-purpose head cushion for a headband; the headband is formed from a head cushion comprising: a main body which is depressively formed from up, down, left and right towards the central part; a fixing clip which is provided on the upper part of the main body and is inserted into the band main body or the support band; and banding members for integrally connecting both end portions of the fixing clip and the upper edge portions of the main body, wherein the head cushion is formed from a resilient material so as to have easy shape transformation and resilience and is insert-provided inside the headband and thereby assist in supporting a wearer's head.
ADJUSTABLE RETENTION SYSTEMS FOR USE WITH PROTECTIVE HELMETS AND HELMET AND ADJUSTABLE RETENTION ASSEMBLIES
Disclosed are adjustable helmet retention systems and helmet and adjustable retention assemblies that solve problems in the prior art. Specifically, disclosed are helmets and adjustable retention assemblies, including a helmet shell and an adjustable retention system that includes one or more retention straps or cables and one or more actuators. The adjustable retention system may comprise a single retention strap or cable having a chin strap subcomponent configured to engage a wearer's chin, a fit strap subcomponent configured to engage a wearer's head, including the occipital portion, and one or more actuators configured to selectively shorten or lengthen the retention strap or cable relative to the wearer's head. The adjustable retention system may alternatively comprise a separate chin strap and chin strap actuator and a separate fit strap and fit strap actuator.
Adjustable headband for a helmet and helmet provided with one such headband
A headband comprises a strip forming a part of a ring around a user's head. An adjustment device adjusts a circumference of the ring by moving one end of the strip that is fixed to an attachment point movable with respect to the body. A rotary actuator is functionally connected to the adjustment device by means of a transmission so that rotation of the rotary actuator results in movement of the attachment point. The adjustment device comprises a threaded section and a nut. The nut and threaded section form a helical link, wherein rotation of the rotary actuator results in movement of the nut along the threaded section. The nut or threaded section moves along a longitudinal axis of the threaded section and supports the attachment point. A helmet comprises such headband.
HELMET FIT ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM WITH RELEASABLE HAIR APERTURE
A helmet fit adjustment system having a frame, a tensioning device having an adjustment wheel, and a device receiver is disclosed. The frame comprises a frame body having a first attachment point and a second attachment point, as well as an occipital strap having a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to the first attachment point, and the second end is movably coupled to the tensioning device. The device receiver is coupled to the second attachment point. The tensioning device is directly and releasably coupled to the device receiver, forming a hair aperture. Rotational adjustment of the adjustment wheel adjusts a functional length of the occipital strap.
Adjustment mechanism for a headband arrangement of a safety helmet
An adjustment mechanism for a headband arrangement including a rotatable knob having a first contact member; a rotatable hub member to engage a notched track of a headband member; and a rotatable notched track member, wherein during contact between the first contact member and the hub member the rotatable notched track member does not rotate, and wherein during contact between a second contact member and the hub member the rotatable notched track member rotates in a second direction.
Swivelling neckband for a protection helmet
A protection helmet includes a crown provided with a frontal part and an occipital part including an inner occipital part, a neckband having an inner surface designed to be in contact with a user's head, and articulation system configured to allow passage of the neckband from a use position to a storage position of the protection helmet. In the storage position, the neckband is folded into the occipital part of the crown so that the inner surface is facing the inner occipital part of the crown.
RATCHET STRUCTURE
A ratchet structure is provided. The ratchet structure comprises a housing having at least one pair of racks slidably overlapped with each other. Further, a cover coupled to the housing, having a cavity. Further, a ratchet gear detachably secured within the cavity, and comprising a plurality of elastic ribs having one or more grooves. Further, a knob having a plurality of driving ribs configured to be received within the one or more grooves of the plurality of elastic ribs. Therefore, the plurality of driving ribs facilitates the movement of the plurality of elastic ribs of the ratchet gear to slide the at least one pair of racks.
POSITIONING AND STABILISING STRUCTURE AND SYSTEM INCORPORATING SAME
A head-mounted display system includes a head-mounted display unit and a positioning and stabilising structure structured and arranged to hold the head-mounted display unit in an operational position over a user's face in use. The positioning and stabilising structure includes a rear support structure adapted to contact posterior regions of a user's head and at least one connector structured and arranged to interconnect the rear support structure to the head-mounted display unit. The rear support structure is in the form of a hoop comprising an occipital portion configured and arranged engage the user's head along a portion of the occipital bone adjacent a junction where the neck muscles attach to the occipital bone in use.
Headgear with a spring buffered occipital cradle
A headgear for a head safety product such as a face shield, hardhat or welding helmet includes a spring buffered cradle mounted on the horizontal band of the headgear to improve the fit, function, stability and comfort of the headgear. The cradle is flexible and has a concave inner surface contoured to conform to the shape of the head. A spring element is coupled between the cradle and the horizontal band to buffer the tension between the band and the head and more equally distribute pressure across the head. In a preferred embodiment, an occipital cradle includes two leaf springs coupled to the rear portion of the horizontal band.
