The more than one securement strap is connected to the nape pad and is configured to fasten to the rear portion of the helmet shell. The tension cable is selectively adjustable by the tensioner and is configured to fasten to the front portion of the helmet shell.
SKULL MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR HEADGEAR, RESPIRATORY HOOD WITH HEADGEAR AND METHOD FOR FASTENING OF HEADGEAR
A skull mounting system for headgear, preferably for a respirator hood, is described. The skull mounting system comprises a headband with a front head strap, which extends around the front of the head of a wearer, and a rear head strap, which is found on the back of the head of the wearer. The rear head strap is connected to the front head strap by means of two swivel joints. The swivel joints are at least partially freely rotatable in a corresponding adjustment position and are not rotatable in a corresponding locked position.
Headband arrangement and welding helmet equipped with the same
The present application provides a headband arrangement for a welding helmet, comprising: a fixed attachment structure; and a helmet mounting structure cooperating with the attachment structure, wherein at least two stopping positions are defined longitudinally between the attachment structure and the helmet mounting structure, the helmet mounting structure is selectively switchable between an unlocking state and a locking state, wherein in the unlocking state, the helmet mounting structure is slidable between the stopping positions relative to the attachment structure, and wherein in the locking state, the helmet mounting structure can be locked to one of the stopping positions relative to the attachment structure and can be kept there by a magnetic force generated between a pair of magnetic parts.
Headband and multifunctional helmet
The present disclosure relates to the field of riding equipment, and particularly to a headband and a multifunctional helmet. The headband comprises a strap configured to bind a head, an adjustment assembly that adjusts the tightness of the strap, and an electronic device that endows the headband with intelligent properties. The strap is connected to the adjustment assembly, and the electronic device is disposed within the adjustment assembly and connected to the adjustment assembly. The headband is an accessory of the helmet, electronic devices are combined with the headband such that the headband has electronic functions associated therewith, expanding the use range of the headband.
Incrementally adjustable and pivotable semi-rigid retention strap for a helmet
A helmet includes a shell having a front portion, a crown portion, and a rear portion. The helmet additionally includes a chin strap having a first attachment body and a second attachment body defining a strap length therebetween, with the chin strap being configured to allow for selective adjustment of the strap length. The first attachment body and the second attachment body are each pivotally connected to the shell such that the chin strap is selectively pivotable relative to the shell between a stored position and a deployed position. The chin strap moves toward the front portion of the shell as the chin strap pivots from the deployed position toward the stored position. At least a portion of the chin strap is semi-rigid so as to be disposable in tension and compression without changing shape.
HELMET RETENTION SYSTEM
The present application discloses a helmet retention system for securing a helmet to the head of a user. In certain versions, the helmet retention system comprises a rear portion connected the rear of the helmet, a chin portion configured to receive the chin of the user, a first side upper strap extending from the rear portion to the front of the helmet, a second side upper strap extending from the rear portion to the front of the helmet, a first side lower strap extending from the rear portion to the chin portion, a second side lower strap extending from the rear portion to the chin portion, and an adjustment device operably attached to the rear portion. The adjustment device is configured to selectively and simultaneously adjust the length of the first side upper strap and the second side upper strap between the rear portion and the front of the helmet and simultaneously adjust the length of the first side lower strap and the second side lower strap between the rear portion and the chin portion.
Helmet comprising an occipital adjustment mechanism
A helmet for receiving a head of a hockey or lacrosse player, the helmet comprising a front shell; a rear shell, the rear shell comprising inner and outer surfaces and an elongated slot extending along a longitudinal axis of the helmet; a rear inner pad for facing the back and left and right side regions of the head, the rear inner pad being mounted to the rear shell; an occipital inner pad located below the rear inner pad for facing the occipital region of the head; a central member extending along the longitudinal axis of the helmet, the central member comprising an upper part hingedly mounted with respect to the rear shell and a lower part mounted to the occipital inner pad; and a single wedging member located between the rear shell and the central member, the single wedging member being movable along the longitudinal axis of the helmet from a first position to a second position wherein, in use, in the first position, the occipital inner pad applies a first pressure upon the occipital region of the head, and in the second position, the occipital inner pad applies a second pressure upon the occipital region of the head, the second pressure being greater than the first pressure.
HEADBORNE ATTACHMENT PLATFORM INCLUDING SYSTEM, DEVICES AND METHODS
