A protective helmet having a protective shell, a low friction layer, and a comfort liner is disclosed. The protective shell includes an energy absorbing material and an inner surface. The low friction layer is coupled to the inner surface of the protective shell. The low friction layer may be plastic having a thickness of less than approximately 3 mm. The comfort liner is removably coupled to the low friction layer opposite the protective shell, and includes a low friction material, such as brushed nylon, adjacent the low friction liner. The comfort liner may be removeably coupled protective shell with either clips that removably couple to receivers embedded in the brow of the helmet, with elastically deformable couplings that extend from the comfort liner to the protective shell, or both.

Twisted Loops Surface Hard Hat Liner
20200221808 · 2020-07-16 ·

A hard hat liner defined by a plurality of twisted loops on the interior and exterior surface thereof, adapted to be worn on the head of the wearer under a hard hat, structured from a symmetric panel of dual sided twisted loops pile fabric, pleated at the fore head so as to conform to the head of the wearer, extending horizontally across the fore head and curving downward at approximately 90% relative to the headband horizontal position, over the ear, extending to the shoulder, and continuing to cover the head and back neck of the wearer, ear to ear, having an elongated head band housing elastic portions and buckles for head size adjustability, with a bias tape hem to secure the edge of said symmetric panel not attached to said headband.

NECK COVER AND HELMET
20200221805 · 2020-07-16 ·

A neck cover and a helmet are provided that improve quietness of a helmet interior and that do not cause inconvenience for a wearer. In order to eliminate a gap between an opening portion of a helmet and a neck periphery of a wearer, insert-through holes, which are for passage of a chin strap that is attached to an inner side of the helmet, are formed in a portion, which covers a front portion (throat) of a neck, of a neck cover that is attached to a peripheral edge of the opening portion.

LACROSSE HELMET

A lacrosse helmet with a plastic shell has a full jaw protector attached to the shell at a right side of the shell and at a left side of the shell, extending forwardly from the shell and extending continuously from the right side of the shell to the left side of the shell and adapted to cover and protect a lower jaw of the wearer. A faceguard made of a grid of horizontal wire members, vertical wire members, and a bottom wire member is removably attached to both the shell and the full jaw protector by loop straps. T-intersections are formed by the bottom wire member and certain of the vertical wire members, adjacent to and above the full jaw protector and forward of loop straps connecting the faceguard to the jaw protector. The loop straps act as stops against rearward movement of the vertical wire members thereby resisting the tendency of the faceguard to slide and twist when struck with blows during sports play.
