Sensor assembly for use in a security alarm system and method of installing the same
There is provided a method of installing a magnetic proximity sensor including positioning the magnetic field sensor in a desired location and positioning a magnet in a desired location relative to the magnetic field sensor, with an indicator of the sensor continuing to be turned on during the predetermined period of time when the magnetic field generated by the magnet is sensed by the magnetic field sensor, and being turned off during the predetermined period of time when the magnetic field generated by the magnet is not sensed by the magnetic field sensor. The indicator light thus assists in determining proper relative positioning of the magnet and the magnetic field sensor. If after the predetermined period of time more time is needed to install the magnetic proximity sensor, the method includes initiates another predetermined period of time by removing and replacing a lid of the magnetic proximity sensor.
Magnetic sensor and magnetic detection method
A magnetic sensor has a Hall IC that has a Hall element formed on a surface of the Hall IC, and a lead frame that supports the Hall IC. The lead frame includes a first region that is disposed in the vicinity of the Hall element and generates a first magnetic field due to a first eddy current generated when a measurement target magnetic field is applied, and second regions that are disposed away from the first region and generate a second magnetic field having an intensity that cancels the first magnetic field by means of second eddy currents generated when the measurement target magnetic field is applied.
Metal detection device and methods of operation thereof
Disclosed are methods and devices for detecting retained surgical items or other objects having a magnetic signature within a corpus of a patient. The device can comprise a handle, a shaft extending from the handle, and a distal sensing portion positioned distally of the shaft. The distal sensing portion can comprise one or more gradiometers comprising a plurality of magnetometers. The device can further comprise one or more output components configured to generate a user output to alert a user of a detected object.

CONTACTLESS MAGNETIC SENSING SYSTEM
Disclosed is a contactless magnetic sensing system. Proposed is a sensing system in which multiple magnetic sensors are disposed at the center of a rotating magnet and rotation angles of the magnetic sensors disposed around a center point at intervals of an angle of 90 degrees can be extracted.
Electrical isolation to reduce magnetometer interference
A magnetic flux receiver assembly includes a collar that defines a central passageway and an axial collar face, and a tool insert disposable within the central passageway and defining an axial insert face. One or more magnetometers are operatively coupled to the tool insert. One or more buttons are coupled to one or both of the axial collar face and the axial insert face such that an axial gap is defined at an axial interface between the axial collar face and the axial insert face to prevent electrical communication across the axial interface.
RIGID FLEXIBLE MAGNETIC IMAGING MOUNT
Various embodiments disclosed herein comprise systems and methods to conform magnetic field sensors to a target geometry. In some examples, an apparatus is configured to conform to a target geometry. The apparatus comprises a sensor mount and a sensor array. The sensor mount comprises a flexible state for a first environmental condition and a rigid state for a second environmental condition. The sensor mount transitions from the flexible state to the rigid state when the first environmental condition transitions to the second environmental condition. The sensor mount transitions from the rigid state to the flexible state when the second environmental condition transitions to the first environmental condition. The sensor array is coupled to the sensor mount.
Sensor package
A sensor package comprises a non-conductive substrate, at least two electrically conductive coils located at a first side of the non-conductive substrate, an evaluation circuit located at a second side of the non-conductive substrate opposing the first side of the non-conductive substrate and conductive connections between the at least two electrically conductive coils and the evaluation circuit.
Systems and methods for measuring current output by a photodetector of a wearable sensor unit that includes one or more magnetometers
An exemplary controller may include a single clock source configured to generate a single clock signal used to drive one or more components within a plurality of magnetometers and a plurality of differential signal measurement circuits configured to measure current output by a photodetector of each of the plurality of magnetometers.
INTEGRATED CIRCUIT PACKAGE WITH MAGNET HAVING A CHANNEL
An integrated circuit package and method of fabrication are described. The integrated circuit package includes a lead frame having a first surface and a second opposing surface and a semiconductor die having a first, active surface in which circuitry is disposed and a second opposing surface attached to the first surface of the lead frame. A magnet attached to the second surface of the lead frame has a non-contiguous central region and at least one channel extending laterally from the central region. An overmold material forms an enclosure surrounding the magnet, semiconductor die, and a portion of the lead frame.
