Protective helmet
The present invention relates to a protective helmet (10) comprising an outer shell (12) and a visor (14) removably coupled to the outer shell (12) by means of a fastening mechanism (20) positioned on facing surfaces of the shell (12) and the visor (14). According to the invention the fastening mechanism (20) comprises complementarily shaped elements (22, 24) comprising at least one protrusion (22) and at least one receiving seat (24) provided with a flexible holding portion (26). The at least one protrusion (22) is adapted to be removably fixed inside the at least one receiving seat (24) by engaging the flexible holding portion (26).
SHIELD LOCK MECHANISM AND HELMET
A shield lock mechanism for attachment to a shell includes a holding member configured to be moved by an external operation between a holding position at which a shield is held and an attachment-detachment position at which the shield can be attached or detached, a biasing member configured to constantly bias the holding member toward the holding position, and a restriction member configured to be moved by an external operation between a restricting position at which of the holding member arranged at the holding position is restricted and a cancelling position at which the restriction is cancelled.
Multi-functional vehicle helmet
A multi-functional vehicle helmet, having a helmet assembly with an exterior shell and an interior shell having protective foam in between. The exterior shell has a transceiver for wireless communications embedded therein. Further having an audio video interleave recording device, and a multifunctional knob assembly having first and second multifunctional knobs, skipping buttons, and tracking buttons. Further having a microphone assembly, and a stereo speaker assembly with at least one speaker embedded in the interior shell. Further having a liquid crystal display, at least one secure digital expansion slot, and a battery assembly having a battery, wherein a multi-functional vehicle helmet is able to communicate with at least a second enabled device.
Non-Grabbable Football Helmet Device
The present invention relates generally to the field of football helmets. More specifically, the present invention relates to a non-grabbable football helmet device primarily comprised of a visor and a face mask assembly that can be attached to a football helmet. In differing embodiments, the visor may be fixedly or removably attached to the face mask assembly. In the preferred embodiment, the face mask assembly has a main face mask frame comprised of at least one vertical member and at least one horizontal member that are arranged in a grid-like pattern that form a plurality of openings. The openings are sized such that the fingers of opposing players cannot penetrate the main face mask frame and cannot injure the wearer or become broken.

PHOTOCHROMIC HELMET VISOR
The photochromic helmet visor includes a transparent piece, an adhesive layer attached to the transparent piece, a flexible base layer attached to the adhesive layer, a self-repairing layer attached to the flexible base layer, and a number of photochromic elements integrated with the flexible base layer or the self-repairing layer. The self-repairing layer includes a. PU layer and a. Siloxane layer attached to the PU layer. The photochromic elements are integrated with the flexible base layer or the self-repairing layer. The flexible base layer is made of PU, TPU, PVC, or PET, and may be tightly and smoothly joined to the transparent piece along with the adhesive layer. The self-repairing layer allows self-repairing to scratches or abrasions under a high temperature, thereby preventing the malfunction of the photochromic elements out of wear and usage and the resulted constant replacement, and enhancing the visor's durability.
Display embedded visor helmet mounted display
A helmet mounted display is embedded in a visor assembly. The visor assembly comprises two molded sections that define portions for receiving waveguides. The optical components are disposed in a portion of the visor assembly and the entire assembly is attached by a hinge to the helmet. The visor assembly includes lateral clips to secure the visor assembly to the helmet, and a night-vision goggle attachment point.
In-molded helmet chinbar
A helmet includes a shell having an interior surface, a padding disposed along the interior surface of the shell, and a chinbar. The padding defines a first engagement surface positioned at a first lateral side of the padding and a second engagement surface positioned at an opposing second lateral side of the padding. The chinbar includes a cage, a first flange, and a second flange. The cage includes a first end defining a third engagement surface and a second end defining a fourth engagement surface. The third engagement surface interfaces with the first engagement surface and the fourth engagement surface interfaces with the second engagement surface. The first flange extends from the first end of the cage. The second flange extends from the second end of the cage. The first flange and the second flange of the chinbar are embedded within the padding.
VISOR MECHANISM FOR A SAFETY HELMET
A visor mechanism for a safety helmet, in particular for emergency services, includes a visor, which is slidably mounted relative to an outer shell of the safety helmet in order to cover a front region of the safety helmet, and a visor adjuster, which is coupled to the visor so that the visor can be slid by a sliding actuation of the visor adjuster. The visor mechanism has a locking assembly coupled to the visor and the visor adjuster, which locking assembly, when locked, blocks the sliding of the visor, and which locking assembly (6), when released, allows the visor to slide. The locking assembly can be released by a release actuation of the visor adjuster. A safety helmet may include a visor mechanism of this type.
Helmet Goggle Designed for On-Road and Off-Road Use
A protective helmet for use with motorsports and cycling activities has a head receiving helmet body that includes a head receiving interior, and an exterior having a front surface, a rear surface, and a perimetral lip for defining a forward-facing aperture. A transparent shield member is engageable with the helmet body and is configured to be placeable adjacent to the forward-facing aperture of the helmet body. The shield member includes a perimetral edge that is sized and configured for engaging the perimetral lip of the helmet body. A strap is coupled to the shield and is configured to engage the rear surface of the helmet body. The engagement of the perimetral edge of the shield member with the perimetral lip of the helmet body enables an increasing force exerted against the shield to be exerted against the helmet, rather than directly against the user's face, and resists the intrusion of dust into the interior of the helmet.
