A visor is disposed on a front side of the helmet and a display is disposed on an interior surface of the visor. A microprocessor, including a logic that receives a command input directed to one of a plurality of subsystems, toggles the subsystem between an activated state and a deactivated state, and displays a status window on the display corresponding to the subsystem. The plurality of subsystems includes a plurality of cameras disposed about the helmet, wherein each of the cameras is operably connected to the display and can apply a low-light filter for low-light conditions. Other subsystems include a wireless transmitter to wirelessly communicate with an external device, a GPS system, and a battery disposed at a lower edge of the rear side.
HELMET SAFETY SYSTEM
A helmet safety system for enhancing visibility of a helmet in a hazardous area includes a helmet that may be worn in a hazardous area. A lighting unit is removably coupled to the helmet. The lighting unit may emit light thereby enhancing visibility of the helmet in the hazardous area.

HELMET
A helmet has a helmet shell and a visor pivotally connected to the helmet shell. First and second helmet electrical contacts are attached at both sides of the helmet and are adapted for electrically connecting to an electrical power source. First and second visor electrical contacts are attached to each side of the visor. The first and second visor electrical contacts are in contact with the first and second helmet electrical contacts respectively, at at least one position of the pivoting visor. First and second electrical wires are electrically connected to the first and second visor electrical contacts respectively.
Personal protection suit
A personal protection suit has a selectively sealable hood (1) for protection against CBRN threats. In one series of embodiments, the hood (1) is separable from a jacket body (5) by a releasable attachment means (11), and has a mask hood seal (2) for sealing with a mask. In one series of embodiments the hood (1A) has a deployable face mask (60) stored within the hood (1A). The hood (1) can be removed without breaking the seal between the mask and mask hood seal (2) to minimise contamination during donning and doffing.
FACE SHIELD SYSTEMS FOR SECURING REMOVABLE FACE SHIELD LENSES
An example face shield includes a face shield lens comprising a locking channel, a face shield shell configured to receive the face shield lens when the face shield is inserted into the face shield shell, and a lens lock configured to move between: a locked position in which the lens lock is configured to engage the locking channel of the face shield to secure the face shield lens to the face shield shell; and an unlocked position in which the lens lock is configured to disengage the locking channel of the face shield to permit insertion of the face shield to the face shield shell and removal of the face shield from the face shield shell.
Face shield for baseball cap
A face shield comprising: a shield having a perforation that receives a brim of a baseball cap, and a pair of tabs extending from the shield that engage opposing sides of an inner portion of the baseball cap. Each tab may include a projection extending away from the base, and the projection may be inserted into a sweatband within the baseball cap.
Adaptive optical filter
The invention relates to an optical filter comprising: at least one optically transparent liquid-crystal shutter, the shutter having a polarization voltage ULCD that marks a threshold between two polarization states, and being designed to switch between at least two opacities OP1 and OP2, OP2 being strictly higher than OP1, when it receives a voltage that is above or below, respectively, the polarization voltage ULCD; and an electronic system comprising: an electronic module for controlling the liquid-crystal shutter, designed to control the voltage applied to the liquid crystal shutter; a photosensitive sensor, designed to deliver, to the electronic control module, a continuous voltage Ucs that varies depending on the luminous intensity that it receives, the photosensitive sensor being the only power supply of the electronic control module and the liquid-crystal shutter, the optical filter being characterized in that, if the photosensitive sensor receives a luminous intensity below a dazzle threshold le, the liquid-crystal shutter has an opacity OP1, and in that the electronic control module is designed, when the photosensitive sensor receives a luminous intensity above the dazzle threshold le, to deliver, to the liquid-crystal shutter, a continuous voltage Ue that is strictly above the polarization voltage ULCD of the shutter, so that the latter switches from opacity OP1 to opacity OP2.
PROTECTING HELMET WITH RAISING/LOWERING MECHANISM OF THE VISOR
Protecting helmet of the type provided with at least one inner shell for shock absorption and at least one outer rigid shell that define a front opening for the face of a user, as well as a protective visor at least rotatable between a lowered position intercepting, at least partially, the front opening and a raised position disengaged from said front opening, and a raising/lowering mechanism to raise/lower the protective visor, wherein the raising/lowering mechanism comprises: at least one base member integral with, or made in a single piece with, or coincident with, part of the outer shell, and arranged in a side position with respect to said front opening; a lever body mounted on said outer shell or said base member so as to rotate around a first axis and provided with a support swinging with respect to said first axis between a proximal position and a distal position with respect to said front opening, said support further comprising hooking means to hook with a corresponding side area of the protective visor; elastic return-means constrained to said outer shell or said base member, and acting on said lever body to push it towards its distal position; one or more hooking teeth integral with said side area of the protective visor and shaped for the engagement with said hooking means of the lever body; at least one guide cam and a respective follower projection engaged with said guide cam, said at least one guide cam being integral with said at least one base member, and said respective follower projection being constrained so that to integrally rotate with said first side area of the protective visor, or vice versa.
Advantageously, the support of the lever body comprises at least one multiple-seat profile and the raising/lowering mechanism further comprises an intermediate disc-shaped element coupled with the afore said support of the lever body so that to rotate with respect to such support around a second axis, and also to swing with respect to the above mentioned first axis integrally with the support of the lever body. The intermediate disc-shaped element further comprises constraining means for the removable constraint to at least one of said hooking teeth of the protective visor in order to transmit at least the circular motion of the protective visor, during the raising or lowering thereof, to the same intermediate disc-shaped element, as well as engaging means, at least integrally rotatable with the same intermediate disc-shaped element, for the movable snap fitting with the afore mentioned at least one multiple-seat profile of the support of the lever body.
