According to one embodiment, a baseball cap includes a dome configured to be placed on the wearer's head, wherein the dome includes one or more panels and one or more cooling channels. The baseball cap also includes a hub positioned at a top of the dome. The hub comprises a central cavity and one or more conduits in gaseous communication with the one or more cooling channels of the dome. A coolant output port is provided in gaseous communication with the central cavity of the hub. The coolant output port is configured to supply a coolant gas to the one or more cooling channels of the dome via the central cavity of the hub.
REMOVABLE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING A NATURAL ENVIRONMENT INSIDE A HELMET
An improved air supply device that is removably securable within a welding hood or similar helmet structure. The air supply device provides two thin sheets of smooth, directed air within the hood. One sheet is directed toward a lens to provide a barrier to humidity. The other sheet of air is provided back toward a user's face to provide a barrier to external fumes and to cool the user. The air supply device is designed to smooth turbulent air flow through multiple structures so supply laminar sheets of air flow within the welding hood to recreate a natural environment for the user.
Cooling and Warming Cover Embedded with Tubing Filled with Liquid
The invention is comprising of a cover for human and domestic mammals, which will provide cooling or warming, utilizing tubing filled with controlled by a liquid embedded within cover which can be attached or detachable, but not limited to. The temperature control switch utilizing a thermostat and distributed by pump. of the liquid can be controlled by utilizing a thermostat or without, and distributed by a pump. The cover is provided in different sizes, shapes and styles forms for preference to accommodate the said user requirements for comfort, to conform to the said user requirements for comfort. The utilization of power operation can be a battery connected by USB, or electricity, solar energy and other sources of energy producing elements, but not limited to. Therefore, the cover can be used outdoors or indoors for the comfort of the user.
SAFETY HELMET
A safety helmet includes an outer shell configured for surrounding a head of a user, and an infrared reflective layer disposed in an interior of the outer shell. The infrared reflective layer is configured for reflecting at a least a portion of incident infrared radiation transmitted through the outer shell. The infrared reflective layer has infrared reflectivity of at least 40%. The safety helmet further may have an evaporative cooling pad positioned within a cavity defined by the inner surface of the outer shell. A method of manufacturing a safety helmet is also disclosed.
Activated carbon absorber
An activated carbon adsorber, in particular an activated carbon adsorber for use by a user of an externally ventilated breathing mask or breathing hood. The activated carbon adsorber includes a housing for accommodating a filter cartridge, and the housing has the following features: an air inlet supply port to receive compressed air from an air supply unit; a connector for connecting to a breathing mask or hood; a unit which can be fastened to the body of or to or on the housing of the activated carbon adsorber and which is capable of forming a detachable connection with another component in particular a sliding or slip connection.
Safety helmet with an adapter and process for detachably fastening a module
A safety helmet (100) includes a helmet shell (7), with a bearing support structure (2, 5, 9, 21), with a helmet-side coupling point and with a module adapter (1). The bearing support structure (2, 5, 9, 21) is fastened to the helmet shell (7) on an inside. A helmet-side adapter coupling point of the module adapter (1) can be connected detachably to the safety helmet-side adapter coupling point of the module adapter (1). The module adapter (1) holds a module at the safety helmet (100). A process for fastening a module detachably to a safety helmet (100).
SAFETY HELMET FAN SYSTEM
A safety helmet fan system includes a fan housing carrying a fan and configured to be mounted on an exterior of a safety helmet shell above a brim of the safety helmet shell, and an elongate cooling air duct connected to the fan housing to direct cooling air flow from the fan housing around the brim and into an interior of the safety helmet shell. The duct can have a flexible construction that allows the duct to be selectively reshaped to accommodate different safety helmet brim configurations. The duct can have a releasable connector configured to releasably connect the duct to a brim of a safety helmet shell.
Helmet with mechanism for cooling
A headgear for protecting a user from head injury includes a helmet and a cooling unit. The cooling unit is designed to be attachable to, and detachable from, the helmet by the user during normal use of the headgear. In an embodiment, the cooling unit includes one or more inlets, a fan for drawing in air into the cooling unit via the one or more inlets, a pad to hold moisture to cool the air drawn into the cooling unit to generate cooled air, and an air outlet to direct the cooled air into said helmet.
HELMET AND TEMPERATURE REGULATION SYSTEM
A helmet with an outer shell has a buffer disposed inside the outer shell, a first flow channel positioned between a head of a wearer of the helmet and the buffer, and a second flow channel positioned in a groove formed in the buffer or at a portion where the buffer is partially absent. In the helmet, a heating medium containing at least partially a liquid flows through the first flow channel and the second flow channel.
Helmet with mechanism for cooling
A helmet with a mechanism for cooling comprises an inlet for allowing external air to flow into air pathways in the helmet, and a pad to hold moisture (liquid) to cool the air after the air has entered the helmet via the inlet. The helmet also contains a reservoir to hold the liquid, and a channel from the reservoir to the pad to transfer the liquid for providing moisture to the pad. Flowing air, cooled by the moistened pad, provides cooling to the wearer of the helmet.
