HELMET WITH MECHANISM FOR COOLING
A helmet with a mechanism for cooling comprises an inlet for allowing external air to flow into air pathways in the helmet, and a pad to hold moisture (liquid) to cool the air after the air has entered the helmet via the inlet. The helmet also contains a reservoir to hold the liquid, and a channel from the reservoir to the pad to transfer the liquid for providing moisture to the pad. Flowing air, cooled by the moistened pad, provides cooling to the wearer of the helmet.
Thermal Safety Helmet
A pliable padded thermal safety helmet that conforms to a patient's head. The helmet has an exterior layer that protects a patient from impact injuries, has an interior surface that secures a removable thermal packs that provide hot or cold therapy depending on the treatment intended for an injury, infection, etc. The thermal packs are removably attached to the inside surface of the thermal safety helmet at any desired location inside the thermal safety helmet to provide heat or cold to specific areas of a patient's head.
HELMET
A helmet has a helmet shell. The helmet shell defines an inner space and a passage. The passage has an open end. The passage fluidly communicates with the inner space via the open end. The helmet further comprises an electrical heating device. The electrical heating device is disposed within the helmet shell for heating the passage.
HARD HAT HAVING INTEGRAL MISTING SYSTEM
A hard hat having an integral misting system for directing a liquid from a stored reservoir onto a user's face and head as a cooling mist. The misting hard hat includes a hat base having a rigid shell and suspension system, a fluid reservoir attached to the interior of the rigid shell, a misting component for dispersing liquid as a mist, and a distribution system for delivering liquid from the from the reservoir to the misting component under pressure. In one embodiment, the misting component is formed from a clip on housing that includes a plurality of misting nozzles which each direct mist from a slightly different position and/or at a slightly different trajectory, thereby provided a large coverage area for mist.
Head cooling apparatus
A head cooling apparatus is provided for cooling a head of a user. The head cooling apparatus includes a portable pump assembly having a foldable heat exchanger formed into a pocket to substantially receive a replaceable cooling source, the foldable heat exchanger including a first exchanger half including a channel, a center portion connected to the first exchanger half, and a second exchanger half connected to the center portion. The head cooling apparatus also includes a headgear assembly in fluid communication with the portable pump assembly, the headgear assembly configured to be worn adjacent a user's head, the headgear assembly including a conformable pouch configured to be positioned adjacent a user's head. The first exchanger half and second exchanger half are foldable along the center portion such that a replaceable cooling source is substantially sandwiched between the first exchanger half and second exchanger half.
Personal air filtering device with automatic control of air movement
A personal air filtering device comprising a rigid component comprising a transparent face shield, a fabric component, wherein the face shield and fabric combine to cover an entire head of a user and form a seal around the user's neck, an intake port with an inlet filter, an exhaust port with an exhaust filter, an air mover causing filtered air to enter the intake port from outside the device and exhaust air to exit the exhaust port, and a controller configured to adjust the rate at which the air mover moves air.
HEAD COOLING DEVICE
A head cooling device is configured to couple internally within a headwear element, and designed to locate a cooling pack in relative proximity to a user's head when the headwear is worn. The head cooling device is configured to be directly affixed within the headwear or is removable in nature. The head cooling device is configured to permit the interchanging of cooling packs. The head cooling device is a compact reusable device designed as a health and safety feature to be used to help regulate the body temperature of a user when in the heat.
TEXTILE
A textile formed from at least three layers, a carrier layer with an inner side T, an intermediate layer and a cover layer with an inner side D, wherein the intermediate layer is arranged between the carrier layer and the cover layer and is connected to the inner side T of the carrier layer and to the inner side D of the cover layer, wherein the cover layer has a cooling medium which is integrated in the cover layer.
Safety helmet with an adapter and process for detachably fastening a module
A safety helmet (100) includes a helmet shell (7), with a bearing support structure (2, 5, 9, 21), with a helmet-side coupling point and with a module adapter (1). The bearing support structure (2, 5, 9, 21) is fastened to the helmet shell (7) on an inside. A helmet-side adapter coupling point of the module adapter (1) can be connected detachably to the safety helmet-side adapter coupling point of the module adapter (1). The module adapter (1) holds a module at the safety helmet (100). A process for fastening a module detachably to a safety helmet (100).
Emergency head covering cold pack for head trauma, concussions, wounds or migraines
A method and apparatus for the treatment of injuries or pain associated with the head or central nervous system. The present embodiment utilizes a head covering that is activated to produce an endothermic reaction to draw heat from, or apply cold to, the head and central nervous system. Layers are used to accomplish different applications and colors are used to associate with selected sport teams colors or camouflaged as may be required in a battlefield environment.
