An air-conditioned clothing for use with a helmet which can be used when the helmet is worn as well as when the helmet is not worn, includes a clothing main body, at least one fan, an air blow-out unit, a guide sheet and an attachment unit. The air is made to flow through an air flow path by the at least one fan and the flowing air evaporates sweat coming out from a body to cool the body with heat of evaporation and in a case where the helmet is worn, the air which blows out from the air blow-out unit is guided to the helmet by the guide sheet and taken into the helmet from an air intake which is formed between an inner edge of the helmet and the head of the user in order to circulate the air inside the helmet.

SAFETY HELMET
20170215511 · 2017-08-03 ·

A safety helmet (10), including a rigid outer shell (11) and an inner part (11.1) made to absorb and deaden any impact endured by said helmet, and comprising an inner padding (14c) which provides a canalisation structure (16) for conducting air between said at least one air intake opening (12.1) and said at least one air extraction opening (13.1), characterized in that it comprises a cap (15), which, when the helmet is worn by said person, cooperates with said padding to provide a plurality of air channels at said canalizations of said padding and covers the head of the person at least at the padding itself.

Snowmobile Helmet

A helmet has a fan forcing air into a ducting channel to provide air circulation within the helmet for distributing the exhaust air over a faceplate linked to the helmet for eliminating moisture and frost from the faceplate's interior surface. A heating element warms the circulating air for warmth in extremely cold weather. A wiper is installed above the faceplate for clearing moisture from the faceplate's surface. The faceplate is coated with a photochromic material for causing the lightening and darkening of the faceplate dependent upon the ambient light. A pair of lights are mounted on the front and rear of the helmet for safety. A pair of audio headphones, a microphone, and a transceiver are mounted within the helmet for communication with a cellular telephone. A battery provides power for powering the fan heating elements, the wiper, and the lights.

PROTECTIVE HEAD COVERING

A protective mask is provided. A protective head covering for reducing exposure to contamination and infection for a user, comprising a fabric affixed to a perimeter of a frame such that the frame and the fabric enclose the user's face. A face shield housed in the frame. An adjustment apparatus affixed to the frame such that the frame may be reshaped. One or more exterior pores affixed to an exterior of the frame and a filtering mechanism housed within the one or more exterior pores.

Surgical Garment
20210392988 · 2021-12-23 · ·

A surgical garment for use with a helmet, wherein the garment comprises a shell, a transparent face shield, and an attachment element coupled to the transparent face shield. The garment may be configured to define a barrier between the wearer and the environment. The attachment element configured to removably couple with a coupling member of the helmet, wherein the attachment element and coupling member comprise complementary coupling surfaces. The attachment element comprises a head having a distal surface and a proximal surface, and defining a coupling recess, the coupling recess is defined in the proximal surface of the head. The garment may comprise a first and second attachment element, with the first attachment element being coupled to upper portion of the transparent face shield and the second attachment element being coupled to lower portion of the transparent face shield.

Respirator Flow Control Apparatus And Method

A respirator has a shell that defines a breathable air zone for a user wearing the respirator. An air flow control system for the respirator has an air delivery conduit within the shell of the respirator, a valve member moveable relative to the air delivery conduit and within the shell to vary the amount of air flow through the air delivery conduit, and a valve actuator outside of the shell of the respirator. The valve actuator is manipulatable by a user of the respirator while wearing the respirator to control movement of the valve member.

Personal protection system including a hood with a transparent face shield and control buttons on the face shield

A personal protection system (30,178,290) including a helmet (32,180) to which a garment (102,236) is mounted. The helmet (32,180) includes an electrically powered assembly such as a fan (92,266,268,272). At least one button (120,134,262,264) for regulating operation of the electrically powered assembly (92,266,268,272) is mounted to the face shield (110,240) of the garment (102,236). The helmet (32,180) includes a detector (85) that is connected to and monitors the state of the button (120,134,262,264). When the button (120,134,262,264) is depressed, the detector (85) sends a signal to a controller (88) that regulates the actuation of the electrically powered assembly. The controller (88) then sets the operating state of the assembly (92,266,268,272) so that the assembly (92,266,268,272) operates in the state desired by the individual wearing the personal protection system (30,178,290) based on the depression of the control button (120,134,262,264).
