Wash Down Sensor For Electronic Rodent Traps and Method of Preventing False Triggering Using A Wash Down Sensor
20230098513 · 2023-03-30 · ·

A rodent monitoring or killing mechanism includes a housing body having a resistive sensor and a wash down sensor operatively coupled to the resistive sensor. The wash down sensor distinguishes between the presence of water within the housing body and the presence of a rodent according to at least one measurement of resistance from the resistive sensor. The at least one measurement of resistance is created by contact of the resistance sensor with the water or the rodent.

Pest monitoring system with conductive electrodes

A pest monitoring system generally includes a circuit, wherein the circuit is initially in a first impedance state that is configured to change to a second impedance state due to pest activity, wherein the second impedance state is lower than the first impedance state.

Object location using offset

A method for locating an object of interest using offset. The object may be a mobile platform, or portion of same, associated with a vehicle, or a pavement segment or feature of or on a pavement segment on which the mobile platform is located. The vehicle includes first and second fixed points having a known offset from each other. An image sensor whose field of view includes the second fixed point and a portion of the mobile platform provides image data which is used with the known offset to calculate the precise location of the object of interest.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LOCATING A STUD
20170370868 · 2017-12-28 ·

This disclosure describes a stud sensor configured to locate a stud. The stud sensor includes a housing and a sensor carried by the housing. The sensor includes two or more electrodes. The two or more electrodes are configured to form a substantially circular configuration. The stud sensor further comprises one or more processors carried by the housing. The one or more processors are communicatively coupled with the sensor. The one or more processors are configured by machine-readable instructions to calculate a stud location by measuring a change in capacitance from a fixed capacitance of a wall structure as the stud sensor is moved along a surface of the wall structure; and generate one or more signals to report a result relating to a location of a stud.
