APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN IMAGE OF AN OBJECT BY ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION
An apparatus for producing an image of an object by electromagnetic radiation includes a transmitting device for producing the electromagnetic radiation, a plurality of transmitting antennas connected to the transmitting device for emitting the electromagnetic radiation, a plurality of receiving antennas, which receive the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the transmitting antennas, and a receiving device, connected to the plurality of receiving antennas, for receiving the electromagnetic radiation and a motor-driven rotating scanner. The transmitting antennas and the receiving antennas are arranged on the scanner. The scanner is set up in such a way that the transmitting antennas and the receiving antennas are rotatable at the same speed about an axis of rotation. The transmitting antennas and the receiving antennas are arranged in relation to one another in such a way that the object can be moved past them, and so in an operating mode of the apparatus the electromagnetic radiation is transported through the object or is reflected by the object.
Start inspection method, apparatus and system applied to unmanned vehicle
The present disclosure disclouses a start inspection method, apparatus and system applied to an unmanned vehicle. A specific embodiment of the method comprises: acquiring feature information of a bottom area of an unmanned vehicle, in response to receiving a start instruction, the bottom area including a chassis of the unmanned vehicle, ground blocked by the unmanned vehicle and a space between the chassis and the ground; determining whether the acquired feature information matches feature information of the bottom area of the unmanned vehicle collected at a most recent parking; and determining whether there is an object affecting traveling in the bottom area according to a matching result. The embodiment realizes an automatic inspection to the blind zone of the bottom area of the unmanned vehicle when starting the unmanned vehicle and improves the safety performance of the unmanned vehicle.

In an embodiment a wireless power transmission system includes a detection system configured to be sensitive to a material selected from the group consisting of a dielectric material and a metallic material and to monitor at least two parameters selected from the group consisting of a presence of an object, a distance of the object, a temperature of the object, a thermal behavior of the object, a presence of a metallic object, a presence of a dielectric object, and a coverage of the detection system with metallic or dielectric matter, wherein the detection system includes at least one or more sensors selected from the group consisting of an infrared sensor, an ultrasonic sensor, a capacitive sensor and an inductive sensor.
Radar-Based Baggage and Parcel Inspection Systems
The present specification provides a baggage scanning system including: an aperture defining a scanning tunnel; a conveyor moving through the scanning tunnel, a baggage being scanned moving on the conveyor; a UWB radar array surrounding the aperture for providing radar scan data corresponding to the baggage; a LCMD array positioned at a location around the baggage allowing obtaining of LCMD scan data corresponding to the baggage; and at least a processor for correlating the radar scan data and the LCMD scan data for providing one or more suspicious regions highlighted over a video image of the baggage being scanned.
Radar-Based Inspection System
A portal for scanning a person walking through the portal, wherein the person is carrying at least one object on the person's body, the portal having first and second vertical sides connected at their tops by a horizontal side; a transceiver positioned on the horizontal side to propagate radiation downwards on the person and receive at least one of first, second and third scan data, wherein the first scan data corresponds to a front-view, the second scan data corresponds to a plan-view and the third scan data corresponds to a back-view of the person; and at least one processor associated with the transceiver to process at least one of the first, second and third scan data to determine a location and dielectric signature of the at least one object.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MULTI-LANE ELEVATED BODY TEMPERATURE PREVENTATIVE SCANNING SOLUTION USING GIGE VISION AND TRACKING
A multi-lane elevated body temperature preventative scanning solution using GigE vision and tracking. This multi-lane solution is used to scan and track movement of people through an elevated body temperature scanning solution. When a person enters the frame, their identity (ID) is tracked within the field of view of the thermal camera in a designated scanning area from there it is monitored through the entry and exit of a premise to acquire a preventative temperature screening. Multiple machine learning and tracking routines are used together in this innovative offering.
Measuring source rock potential using terahertz analysis
The present disclosure describes methods and systems for determining source rock potential in a subterranean region of a hydrocarbon reservoir. One method includes: receiving, a terahertz (THz) scanning image from an in-situ THz scanner that is attached to a wellbore at a first subterranean location, wherein the wellbore extends into the subterranean region of the hydrocarbon reservoir; identifying, components of a source rock in the first subterranean location based on the THz scanning image; and determining, the source rock potential at the first subterranean location based on the identified components of the source rock.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THERMAL FOAM DETECTION
A foam identification system including a thermal imaging camera and a controller connected to the thermal imaging camera. The thermal imaging camera images a surface of a liquid in a vessel that is exposed to a headspace of the vessel. The headspace being either warmer or cooler than the liquid. The camera and the controller detect a change in temperature of the exposed surface of the liquid to identify foam on the exposed surface of the liquid.
RECONFIGURABLE GPR DEVICE
