A display device including a display to generate a real image, and an optical system. The optical system includes a plurality of lenslets, each having one cluster of object pixels, where the assignation of object pixels to clusters may change periodically in time intervals. Each lenslet produces a ray pencil from each object pixel of its cluster which has waists laying close to a waist surface. The ray pencils are projected towards an eye position. The ray pencils are configured to generate a partial virtual image from the real image of its corresponding cluster. At least two of the lenslets cannot be made to coincide by a simple translation rigid motion. Foveal rays are a subset of rays emanating from the lenslets.

The optical module comprises a first light emitting assembly, a second light emitting assembly, and a homogenizing lens group arranged on the light emitting sides of the first light emitting assembly and the second light emitting assembly; Light beams emitted by the first light emitting assembly and the second light emitting assembly are respectively and vertically incident on the light incident side of the homogenizing lens group, and the homogenizing lens group homogenizes and emits the light beams incident by the first light emitting assembly and the second light emitting assembly to form light spots. The optical module and the laser system are small and compact in structure, and can realize diversified forms of output light spots, so that the optical module and the laser system can meet different requirements.

ASSEMBLY FOR COLLIMATING BROADBAND RADIATION

An assembly for collimating broadband radiation, the assembly including: a convex refractive singlet lens having a first spherical surface for coupling the broadband radiation into the lens and a second spherical surface for coupling the broadband radiation out of the lens, wherein the first and second spherical surfaces have a common center; and a mount for holding the convex refractive singlet lens at a plurality of contact points having a centroid coinciding with the common center.

EYEWEAR LENS CREATION USING ADDITIVE TECHNIQUES WITH DIFFUSE LIGHT

Systems and methods for lens creations are disclosed. The method includes initiating light transmission from a light source through a diffuser into a container holding resin and a substrate. The light transmission is performed according to an irradiation pattern wherein each point in the resin is illuminated by at least 10% of the diffuser. This causes a lens to be formed. To achieve this illumination, at least 15% of the diffuser receives light from the light source. Further, a diameter of the diffuser is greater than or equal to a diameter of the substrate. The system performing the methods includes a polymerization apparatus and may include a resin conditioning and reservoir apparatus, a metrology unit, a resin drainage apparatus and an optional postcuring apparatus.
