This structure includes a transparent member. The transparent member has a first surface and a second surface arranged to face each other, and allows light entering from the first surface to propagate toward the second surface by reflection. The transparent member has a plurality of slopes inclined with respect to the first surface, in an optical path between the first surface and the second surface.
APPARATUS FOR CABLE ROUTING
A communication system includes an outer housing, an inner housing, and a hanger plate assembly. The outer housing has first and second side walls. The inner housing is at least partially positioned within the outer housing. The inner housing has first and second side walls and is configured to receive a plurality of patch panel devices therein in a stacked arrangement. The hanger plate assembly includes a first hanger plate hingedly coupled to the first side wall of the inner housing and a plurality of hangers connected to the first hanger plate in a stacked arrangement. Each hanger is adapted to support a cable thereon. The hanger plate assembly has a stored condition in which the hanger plate assembly is fully positioned within the outer housing, and a pulled out condition in which the hanger plate assembly is at least partially positioned outside the outer housing.
MULTI-PURPOSE SEALING DEVICE
A multi-purpose sealing device is described herein for use in a port structure of fiber terminal, telecommunication enclosure; or a bulkhead. The exemplary sealing device has a body having an open end and a closed end, wherein the closed end includes a removable portion and a pulling device to facilitate removal of the exemplary sealing device from a port structure. In one aspect, the exemplary sealing device is a single part made of a resilient material, while an alternative aspect, the exemplary sealing device includes a rigid connection portion disposed within the open end of the body. The exemplary device can be used as a dust cap or plug prior to making a service connection and/or it can be used as a port/cable sealing device after the service connection is made.
MACRO-MOLECULAR LEAKAGE-FREE SELF-ADHERING ALUMINUM FOIL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A macro-molecular leakage-free self-adhering aluminum foil has two layers of aluminum foil compounded using a PET film, and the other surfaces of each layer coated with a modified PE adhesive layer respectively; or air gaps in one surface or two surfaces are filled with nano-aluminum to form a permeable air gap-free surface. The foil has advantages: 1, high folding resistance, fatigue resistance and strength 2, wrapping self-adhering performance is good, and stripping strength formed after adhesion is several times as high as that of the prior art; 3, air gaps in the surface of the aluminum foil filled with nano-aluminum powder result in improved compactness; manufacture from low-grade aluminum foil, and so that rolling precision requirements are lowered, and manufacturing cost reduced; 4, insulating strength is high, shielding effect is good, the return loss phenomenon is avoided, and tensile strength is good.
Modular Fiber Optic Tray
The present invention provides modular trays having cutout features that are configured to engage with a mounting feature of one or more removable rails. The removable rails may be removeably secured to a tray body in a plurality of positions to allow a user to install or uninstall rails to support different sized fiber optic modules. For example, a tray may support a twenty-four optical fiber module, two twelve optical fiber modules, or three eight optical fiber modules. Fiber optic enclosures housing the trays can be affixed to the outside of a fiber optic enclosure and allow for easy stacking and unstacking.
FIBER DISTRIBUTION DEVICE
A fiber distribution device includes a swing frame chassis pivotally mounted to a support structure. At least a first optical splitter module is mounted to the swing frame chassis. Pigtails having connectorized ends are carried by the swing frame chassis and have portions that are routed generally vertically on the swing frame chassis. An optical termination field includes fiber optic adapters carried by the swing frame chassis. The fiber optic adapters are configured to receive the connectorized ends of the pigtails.
NETWORKING CABLE TRACER SYSTEM
A method and apparatus for providing a tracer function for networked cable systems used for data or power transmission. A self contained and self powered indicator circuit is described that enables tracing the location of both ends of a networked cable.

OPTICAL CABLE FOR TERRESTRIAL NETWORKS
An optical cable includes an optical module which includes first optical fibers and a first retaining element arranged about the first optical fibers. The module also includes second optical fibers arranged about the first retaining element, the second optical fibers being arranged on at least one circumference concentric with the first retaining element. The module also includes a second retaining element arranged about the second optical fibers, which is also substantially coaxial with the first retaining element. This optical module with coaxial retaining elements and fibers has a particularly high fiber density, while preserving the possibility to uniquely identify all the fibers.
ARMORED OPTICAL FIBER CABLE
An optical communication cable subassembly includes a cable core having optical fibers each comprising a core surrounded by a cladding, buffer tubes surrounding subsets of the optical fibers, and a binder film surrounding the buffer tubes. Armor surrounds the cable core, the binder film is bonded to an interior of the armor, and water-absorbing powder particles are provided on an interior surface of the binder film.
