SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INCREASING LOCALIZED PRESSURE TO IMPROVE PPG MOTION PERFORMANCE

The relates to a back surface of the device including one or more protrusions configured to create the localized pressure. In some examples, the protrusion(s) can be located between the optical components and one or more edges of the back plate. In some examples, the protrusion(s) can include a surface that can be raised relative to the back plate of the device. In some examples, one or more protrusions can include one or more recessed regions. In some examples, the cover structure disposed over each of the openings may itself be a protrusion that can apply local regions of higher pressure. The protrusion(s) can be capable of applying localized pressure to multiple spatially separated regions of the skin. Additionally or alternatively, the protrusion(s) can be capable of applying different amounts of localized pressure. Examples of the disclosure can include the Fresnel lens(es) and/or optical isolation optically coupled to the protrusion.

The disclosure includes a monopod adapted for a pack or harness. It utilizes a simple mechanism which is lightweight, self-contained and easy to set-up and take down. The user never has to access another piece of equipment, nor assemble or disassemble any parts in use. Indeed, the user can access or store binoculars while on the move. The user can also shift to other fields of view instantly, without having to turn, re-level or adjust the set-up, as would be required with a tripod. The disclosure comprises a scope bracket configured to rotatably attach to a scope mount. A telescoping arm attaches to the scope bracket in a first angle relative to the telescoping arm. A telescoping arm bracket rotatably attaches to the telescoping arm in a second angle relative to the telescoping arm. A back plate supports the telescoping arm bracket against a chest of a user.

Social distancing devices and methods
11205328 · 2021-12-21 ·

A device for indicating appropriate social distancing includes the ability to project light (in various forms and in a various ways) onto the ground in a manner visible by the user and those around them. A boundary of the projected light can be set to an acceptable social distance and can include different colors to indicated varying social distances for varying levels of trusted individuals. Proximity sensors set to appropriate distancing requirements, along with the varying levels of trust can be implemented into multiple devices being used in a group setting.

A display device includes a pixel unit including first pixels in a first pixel area, second pixels in a second pixel area, and third pixels in a third pixel area; a first scan driver including first multiplexers configured to operate in response to a first mode and a second mode different from the first mode, and to supply first scan signals to first scan lines connected to the first pixels; a second scan driver configured to supply second scan signals to second scan lines connected to the second pixels; and a third scan driver including second multiplexers configured to operate in response to the first mode and the second mode, and to supply third scan signals to third scan lines connected to the third pixels.

LOUPE HAVING ENHANCED SHIELDING

A loupe assembly that provides enhanced protection against the transmission of infectious diseases from a patient to a dental professional. In various embodiments, the loupe further inhibits the transparencies of the eyewear frame from fogging by providing a humidity sponge on the transparencies or in close proximity thereto.

Viewing Device Mount Employing Laterally Rotating Mechanism
20220167703 · 2022-06-02 ·

A novel viewing device mount includes a base and a first articulating arm. The first articulating arm includes a proximal end movably coupled to the base and a distal end configured to couple an optical device to the first articulating arm. The articulating arm further includes a first joint and a second joint. The first joint facilitates angular displacement of the optical axis of the optical device and the second joint facilitates translational displacement of the optical axis of the optical device. In a more particular embodiment, the viewing device further includes a second articulating arm having a proximal end coupled to the base and a distal end configured to couple a second optical device to the second articulating arm. In another particular embodiment, the base is configured to be removably attached to a head worn device such as, for example, a combat helmet.

Interaction Engine for Creating a Realistic Experience in Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality Environments

The technology disclosed relates to a method of realistic simulation of real world interactions as virtual interactions between a control object sensed acting in a three-dimensional (3D) sensory space and the virtual object in a virtual space that the control object interacts with. In particular, it relates to detecting free-form gestures of a control object in a three-dimensional (3D) sensory space and generating for display a 3D solid control object model for the control object during the free-form gestures, including sub-components of the control object and in response to detecting a free-form gesture of the control object in the 3D sensory space in virtual contact with the virtual object, depicting, in the generated display, the virtual contact and resulting motions of the virtual object by the 3D solid control object model.
