Locking adjustment assembly and method for an optical aiming device
The application is directed to a locking adjustment assembly for an optical aiming device. The locking adjustment assembly is usable across different optical platforms regardless of the focal length of a particular optical platform. The locking adjustment assembly is operationally configured to be reset to a zero position. The locking adjustment assembly may also provide an automatic lock at a zero position.
SIGHT AND COMPENSATING MECHANISM THEREOF
A sight includes a compensating mechanism. The compensating mechanism includes a base unit, a displaying unit, an adjusting cap and a first transmission unit. The displaying unit is disposed on the base unit and includes a mark. The adjusting cap is disposed outside the displaying unit and includes an information displaying portion for showing the mark. The first transmission unit is connected to the adjusting cap and the displaying unit. The adjusting cap is connected to the transmission unit and includes a groove. When the adjusting cap is rotated with respect to the base unit about an axis, the information displaying portion is synchronously rotated with the adjusting cap and the first transmission unit drives the displaying unit to move along the axis so as to change the mark shown by the information displaying portion.
Optical viewfinder for costume heads
A head for a walk-around costume is provided that is adapted for enhanced visibility. The costume head includes an outer shell defining an interior space for receiving a head of a human performer. The outer shell includes an aperture allowing incoming light from an exterior space to enter the interior space, and an eye location for the human performer is spaced apart from the aperture when the head is received in the interior space. To provide an enlarged field of view, the costume head includes an optical viewfinder assembly disposed within the interior space of the outer shell between the aperture and the eye location. The optical viewfinder assembly is adapted for receiving the incoming light and transmitting the incoming light to the eye location to move a viewpoint of the human performer to the aperture to provide a larger field of view of the exterior space.

Method for supporting a user aiming at an object with a telescope
A method for supporting a user aiming at an object with a telescope includes determining and storing a first object position of the object relative to the telescope when a user aims at the object with the telescope and the telescope is located at a first telescope position, and supporting a user when aiming at the object again with the same telescope based on the stored first object position relative to the telescope.
Long-Range Optical Device with an Opto-Electronic Display
The technology relates to a long-range optical device for a firearm with an objective and an eyepiece, through which an observation beam path is formed for aiming at a target, the long-range optical device further comprising an opto-electronic display device, wherein the display device comprises an LCoS display for displaying variable data or a target mark, wherein a display beam path of the display device runs at least partly in the observation beam path for displaying the remote object.

Optical instrument indexing system and device
An optical instrument indexing device includes a riser and first and second platform. The first platform is disposed on a first side of the riser at a first position on the riser. The second platform disposed on a second side of the riser at a second position on the riser. Both the first and second platforms are indexed or indexable to align two optical instruments to a field of view.
