ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR COUPLING A MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICE TO OPTICS
Provided is an attachment system for coupling a mobile computing device to an optic device. The optic device may be, but is not limited to a scope, binoculars or the like. The attachment system operates with attachment devices and mounting device with apertures that provide a means to couple a mobile computing device to the optic device in such a way that the attachment system provides a line-of-sight between a camera of the mobile computing device with the lens of the optic device. This allows the camera of the mobile computing device to capture images and video using the high power zoom functionality of the optic device and the convenience of the mobile computing device.
CAMERA LENS TO OPTICAL INSTRUMENT CONNECTOR
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are disclosed for a camera lens to optical instrument connector. An apparatus includes a tab having a tab body comprising a first side, a second side, and an aperture, one or more magnets located within the tab body, and a means for connecting the first side to a device such that a camera lens of the device is aligned with the tab aperture. The apparatus includes an adapter having an adapter body comprising a first side, a second side, and an aperture, one or more magnets positioned within the adapter body, the one or more adapter magnets aligned with the one or more tab magnets for magnetically securing the tab to the adapter, and an adapter sidewall protruding along an axis perpendicular to an edge of the first side for securing the adapter onto an eyepiece of a lensed optical instrument.

AUTO-CENTRE BARREL CAM FOR SMALL OPTICAL SYSTEMS
An auto-center barrel cam for small optical systems including an outer barrel having a first channel extending longitudinally where the first channel is tapered from an inner surface to an outer surface of the outer barrel at a first angle and an inner barrel within the outer barrel. The inner barrel including a second channel extending longitudinally along the inner barrel where the second channel is tapered from an inner surface to an outer surface of the inner barrel at a second angle. A cam follower includes a flexure part having a first section with a first surface and a second section with a second surface. A spring section pulls the first section and the second section toward each other. The flexure part is arranged to maintain the cam follower within a center of the first and second channels as the inner barrel moves in relation to the outer barrel.
