Dot sight
A compact dot sight is provided, in which the inner cylinder is eliminated and no structure protrudes from the left and right side walls of a lens barrel. The dot sight includes: a lens barrel; objective lenses fixed to a front opening of the lens barrel; an eyepiece lens fixed to a rear opening of the lens barrel; a light source for projecting a point image from an inside of the lens barrel to the objective lens; a power supply circuit for supplying power to the light source; and a dot adjustment mechanism that has a holder of the light source and can adjust the position of the point image projected on the objective lens by moving the holder vertically and horizontally.

Freeform surface optical telescope imaging system
A freeform surface optical telescope imaging system is provided. The freeform surface optical telescope imaging system comprises a primary mirror, a secondary mirror, a compensating mirror, and a spherical mirror. The primary mirror, the secondary mirror, the compensating mirror, and the spherical mirror are spaced from each other. A surface shape of each of the primary mirror and the secondary mirror is a quadric surface. The primary mirror is used as an aperture stop. A surface shape of the compensating mirror is a freeform surface. A surface shape of the spherical mirror is a spherical surface. A light emitted from a light source would be reflected by the primary mirror, the secondary mirror, the compensating mirror, and the spherical mirror to form an image on an image plane.

Reflex sight with ultraviolet-sensitive lens and shroud
An apparatus implementable on a firearm includes a lens, a light source, a control unit coupled to control the light source to project an image of an aim point onto the lens, and a housing structure that houses the lens, the light source, and the control unit, with a portion of the housing structure forming a shroud that surrounds the lens. The lens includes an ultraviolet (UV)-sensitive lens that darkens responsive to sensing a UV light. Alternatively, or additionally, the shroud is sensitive to the UV light and a color of the shroud darkens responsive to sensing the UV light.
