Information display apparatus and reflecting mirror used therein

An information display apparatus and an information display method configured to display video information of a virtual image on a windshield of conveyance is provided. The information display apparatus includes: a display configured to display the video information; and a virtual image optical system configured to display a virtual image at a front of the conveyance by reflecting light emitted from the display by means of the windshield. The virtual image optical system includes a concave mirror and an optical element. A reflective film is formed on a reflecting surface of the concave mirror. A protective film for preventing moisture absorption is formed on a facing surface. By forming end surfaces of the two surfaces as a curved surface or an inclined surface and forming them on the end surfaces to block moisture, moisture absorption of plastic is prevented.

A camera cover is provided. The camera cover has a coating formed on a surface of the camera cover. The coating contains a urethane acrylate resin. The camera cover has a dome shape and is designed to protect an image capturing unit. A Berkovich hardness at an indenter penetration depth of 100 to 300 nm on a surface of the coating is at least 0.4 GPa.

SENSOR MODULE AND CASE UNIT

A sensor module according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a sensor element, a first case, a second case, and an intermediate layer. The first case includes an opening end and accommodates therein the sensor element. The second case includes a joining surface welded to the opening end. The intermediate layer is reflective of light, and is formed along an outer peripheral edge of a region, in the opening end, in which the opening end faces the joining surface.

Vehicle Camera Cover

The present invention relates generally to the field of camera covers. More specifically, the present invention relates to a vehicle camera cover for exterior cameras of a vehicle. The cover is comprised of a base that is further comprised of a padded magnet or adhesive layer that allows the cover to magnetically or adhesively attach to the exterior surface of a vehicle. A magnetic base layer with a magnetic bottom surface further attaches to the top surface of the magnet layer, and is comprised of a hinge. A transparent lid further attaches to the hinge, wherein the outer surface of the hinge is comprised of a water-repelling coating. Therefore, the cover ensures precipitation or debris cannot obstruct, cover, or damage the exterior cameras of a vehicle, and wherein the cover can be removed as desired without damaging the exterior vehicle surface.

Control for passive wiper system

A system includes a dome, a wiper assembly, a position sensor and a control device. The wiper assembly includes a wiper blade configured to rotate around the dome. The position sensor may be configured to send a signal to a control device when a wiper blade passes the position sensor. The control device may include one or more processors configured to receive the signal from the position sensor and determine a location of the wiper blade relative to the dome based on the received signal.

DEFROSTING LENS

A defrosting lens includes a lens barrel having an opening toward an object side, a first lens disposed in the lens barrel and located at the opening, and a heating member. The heating member is for providing a heat source and is disposed between an inner wall of the lens barrel and the first lens. The heating member is arranged along a peripheral edge of the first lens. By raising a temperature of the first lens through the heat source supplied by the heating member, frost formed on the first lens could be removed, thereby a definition of an image captured by the defrosting lens could be effectively improved, and the defrosting lens could be applied in various environments without being limited by the change of climate temperature difference.

An integrated image sensor and lens assembly may include a lens barrel, a collet, and a lens mount. The lens barrel may be coupled to the collet which is coupled to the lens mount. The lens barrel and the collet may each include a fastening structure reciprocal to each other. Alternatively, the collet and the lens mount may each include a fastening structure reciprocal to each other. The optical distance between the set of lenses and the image sensor may be tuned such that the focal plane of the lenses coincides with the image plane. The fastening structures allow the lens barrel to be adjusted relative to the lens mount in order to shift the focal plane in a direction along the optical axis to compensate for focal shifts occurring during assembly/cure and/or temperature cycling.

Device and method for cleaning a partial region of a housing surface

A device for cleaning at least a partial region of a housing surface. The device includes a first structure having an outer surface and an inner surface, the outer surface being situated opposite to the inner surface, the inner surface being able to be disposed on the partial region of the housing surface, and a second structure having an outer surface and an inner surface, the outer surface of the second structure being situated opposite to the inner surface of the second structure, wherein the inner surface of the second structure is disposed on the outer surface of the first structure, the first structure being deformable along a first axis by a fluid which is able to be conducted between the first structure and the second structure and the second structure being movable along a second axis, the second axis being disposed perpendicular to the first axis.

Gas ejection apparatus

A gas ejection apparatus ejects gas by use of a compressor that compresses the gas, and the gas ejection apparatus includes a detector and a microcomputer. The detector detects a signal relating to an ejection target device. The microcomputer controls the compressor to change a number of times of ejection of the gas in accordance with an amount of time elapsing between a detection of the signal by the detector and a next detection of the signal by the detector.
