Glasses manufacture
A method of eyewear manufacture including: adhering frame material onto a surface of a corrective lens, the frame material extending along at least 10% of an edge circumference of the lens; and attaching the lens to a second lens.
CONFIGURABLE EYEWEAR SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a novel eyewear system and a method to configure the same. An eyewear system consistent with the present disclosure comprises an eyewear frame and a lens casing attached thereto. The eyewear system comprises a set of insertable lenses fitted between said eyewear frame and said lens casing. The lens casing comprises a pliable material to receive the set of insertable lenses. Further, the present disclosure provides a method for a consumer to design and order a pair of eyewear using an online system. The method may include prompting a user to choose from a plurality of unique frame options. Based on the user's selection of the frame, display to the user a plurality of lens casing options. In addition, based on the user's selection of the lens casing options, associate the selected frame and the selected lens casing with a customer order.
REPLACEMENT STRUCTURE OF EYEGLASSES LENS
A replacement structure of eyeglasses lens is disclosed. A frame comprises two circular openings corresponding to each other, at least one recess at the periphery of each circular opening, and a sliding slot connected with the recess. A lens rim is around the lens periphery, wherein the rim shape is circular to correspond to the circular opening for assembling the rim in the circular opening, and a projection is protruded from the rim periphery to correspond to the recess and embedded in the recess. When the rim is rotated, the projection is moved into the sliding slot to fasten the lens. Accordingly, the assembly and disassembly of the lens with the frame does not require any tools, being simpler, easier, and faster. Furthermore, the different color and style of the rim is used to match with the frame, so the use is richer and more is varied to attract consumers' attention.

SHIELD-INTEGRATED EYEWEAR
Shield-integrated eyewear are provided, wherein protective shields are integrated into the eyewear frames. Each shield being incorporated into the optical frame as a unitary solid piece, and providing a curvature adapted to follow and be held flush against an inner curvature of a lens retained within a respective rim of the optical frame. Thereby, the shields can be used as barriers to unwelcome sunlight regardless how many times the lens themselves are replaced.
Eyeglass frame system where lenses can move from one frame to another
The current invention is a detachable eyeglass frame system that will provide consumers a way to take their single pair of prescription lenses out of their manufacturers frames and place them into another set of the same manufacturer's frames but, of different color and/or style. The eyeglass frame system comprises an eyeglass frame including a front section removably secured to a horizontal bar. The horizontal bar is removably secured along the upper end of the front section by one or more fasteners, such as magnets. By lifting the Removable Horizontal Bar from Frame Rear, lenses easily slide out of their current frames and easily slide into their other frames.

RX ADD-ON FOR GLASSES
The present disclosure includes an optical article for use with an eyewear apparatus. In some implementations, the optical article includes a single optical member having opposing first and second lens surfaces and a magnet coupled to the optical member and configured to be coupled to a frame of an eyewear apparatus. The optical article may also include a mounting bracket coupled to the optical member and configured to be coupled to the frame of the eyewear apparatus.
EYEWEAR ASSEMBLY HAVING AN ENERGY DISPERSION MECHANISM
An energy dispersion mechanism can be integrated into the eyewear design to incorporate a more resilient lens holding structure that can disperse the energy received during an impact and retain the lens in place. The energy dispersion mechanism comprises an impact dispersing material seated within a groove of a first frame portion, the impact dispersing material extending beyond the first frame portion to form a nose bridge which joins the first frame portion to a second frame portion; and the impact dispersing material is seated within a groove of a second frame portion. The impact dispersing material may be overmoulded on the eyewear to allow efficient manufacturing.
