EYE-WEAR KIT WITH MAGNETIC FRONT ATTACHMENT AND METHOD OF USE
20210325692 · 2021-10-21 ·

Eyewear or glasses with a frame having a frame front and two temples. Frame front has a bridge between two sides. At least one primary magnet is embedded in frame of eyeglasses. A length of material having a first side and a second side has at least one secondary magnet. Length of material is fixed to a larger object such that at least one secondary magnet is facing away from the object. To store one's glasses, the wearer places the frame of the glasses proximate primary magnet against a secondary magnet so that the glasses are held magnetically (by way of magnetic forces) to the length of material and, in turn, to the larger freestanding object. The glasses can be removed and stored in this manner repeatedly.

CLIP-ON GLASSES SYSTEM AND CARRY CASE FOR SAME
20210231970 · 2021-07-29 ·

A clip-on glasses system includes clip-on glasses and a carry case for carrying and storing the clip-on glasses. The clip-on glasses lack conventional temple members and are instead a generally planar arrangement of two lens portions connected by a flexible bridge which allows a user to “clip” the glasses onto the user's nose such that a spring action of the bridge causes the lens portions together against the user's nose on opposite sides of the user's nose. The flexible bridge is made in a serpentine arrangement that augments the flexibility over bridge configurations and provides an easy hand hold for grasping the clip-on glasses. The carry case is configured to use the spring action of the flexible bridge to retain the clip-on glasses in the carry case, and has a stand to stand the carry case upright.

System to secure glasses to hat

A system is provided to secure a pair of glasses to a hat, the system including a hatband insert configured to be inserted in a hatband of a hat, one or more hatband magnetic members configured to be selectively attachable to a plurality of locations of the hatband insert, and one or more glasses magnetic members configured to be attached to each temple of a pair of glasses, wherein the one or more hatband magnetic members and the one or more glasses magnetic members are configured to be magnetically attached to selectively secure the glasses to the hat.

SPECTACLES

A pair of spectacles includes a front assembly mount and a pair of arms which extend from respective opposing lateral lugs of the front mount, there being defined on each arm an internal lateral flank, which is directed towards the head with the spectacles being worn, and an opposing external lateral flank. The pair of spectacles also includes on at least one of the arms a respective support element, secured to the external flank of the arm in the region of a portion of the arm near a respective lug for articulation to the mount and which extends in the direction of longitudinal development of the arm behind the external flank and with a spacing from the external flank of the arm, the support carrying a surface, which is visible from the outer side with the spectacles being worn, configured to be decorated or to support decorative patterns.

ROTATIONAL ALIGNMENT OF INTERCHANGEABLE LOUPES

Rotational alignment apparatus and methods for interchangeable loupe telescope(s) are provided. Some embodiments include an indexing ring including a projection. The ring is fixed to the telescope upon rotational alignment of the telescope. The alignment may involve use of a laser and test fixture. The projection mates with a corresponding indexing notch of a loupe anchoring device. Loupes may comprise one or more anchor assemblies, and one or more interchangeable telescope assemblies. The interchangeable telescope assemblies are held to the anchor assemblies by magnetic attraction between one or more magnets and/or one or more magnetic components affixed to corresponding surfaces of the corresponding assemblies. Mating of the projection with the notch ensures appropriate relative rotational alignment of the assemblies.
