Optics mount for over-the-glasses eyewear
A display apparatus for wearing over corrective eyewear has a frame structure that supports left- and right-side protective lenses, wherein each protective lens has a rear surface disposed to face toward the corrective eyewear, and a front surface disposed to face the outside-world object scene. A bridging member is hinged to the frame between the left- and right-side protective lenses, wherein the bridging member extends a nose bridge engagement member toward a viewer nose position, wherein the bridging member further has a coupling configured to removably suspend at least one output element of an electronically energized display system over the front surface of the left- or right-side protective lens.
Eyewear lens for frameless eyewear
Eyewear lenses for frameless eyewear may include a stiffening member configured to increase the stiffness of the eyewear lens. The stiffening member may be an integral part of the lens and extend along the upper portion of the lens. At least a portion of the stiffening member may extend forward of a corresponding point on the front surface of the lens. The stiffening member may have different dimensions and cross sections, based on, for example, the stiffening enhancement needed and aesthetic considerations. The stiffening member may be designed to improve the moment of inertia of the eyewear lens to a desired value when compared to an otherwise identical lens without a stiffening member. The increased stiffness caused by the stiffening member may also be designed to achieve a target head force on the head of a user when the eyewear lens is integrated into eyewear.
MAGNETIC ATTRACTION TYPE LENS-REPLACEABLE EYEGLASSES
A magnetic attraction type lens-replaceable eyeglasses, comprising a frame and lenses. A connector for fixedly connecting the lenses to the frame is disposed at a bridge of the frame. The connector is detachably connected to the frame. The connector and the frame are in magnetic attraction cooperation. Fixing pins capable of penetrating through the lenses and used for limiting the swing of the lenses are disposed on the side, in contact with the lenses, of the connector. By using the detachable connector, the lenses are fixed to the frame. By means of magnetic attraction cooperation, the lenses can be relatively easy to replace. Meanwhile, by using a design of positioning pins, it can be ensured that the lenses mounted on the frame will not swing or shift.
Audio eyeglasses with double-detent hinge
Various aspects include audio eyeglasses with a frame including: a lens region; a pair of arms extending from the lens region; a hinge coupling each of the pair of arms with the lens region; and a cable extending through each hinge, where each hinge includes: a body defining a cavity accommodating the cable; and a hinge mechanism within the body, the hinge mechanism having: a spring located in the lens region, the spring including at least one lever arm extending within the cavity; and a cam member contacting the lever arm of the spring, where the cam member includes: a first contact surface for resisting kickback from the spring when the audio eyeglasses are in a fully open position, and a second, distinct contact surface for resisting kickback from the spring when the audio eyeglasses are in a fully closed position.
Universal Prescription Eyewear Insert
A eyewear insert for use when wearing secondary or safety eyewear. The insert is comprised of two rims surrounding two prescription lenses, wherein the two rims may have a bridge connector, which may be connected to a bridge having a bridge bend and optionally two flexible pieces, and wherein the top of the bridge is connected to two frame support attachments that are capable of sitting on top of any secondary eyewear.

FACE MASK AND FRAME
An eyeglasses-like frame may include a central section that horizontally traverses a wearer's face. The central section may include a first cheek portion sized and configured to be disposed at least proximate a cheek of the wearer, and a second cheek portion sized and configured to be disposed at least proximate a cheek of the wearer. A bridge portion may be generally horizontally disposed between the first cheek portion and the second cheek portion. The first cheek portion, the second cheek portion, and the bridge portion may be disposed below a lower portion of the wearer's eyes. The eyeglasses-like frame may include a left temple section connected to the central section via a first hinge and a right temple section connected to the central section by a second hinge. A mask may be connected to the frame and the mask may be adjustable to tighten around the wearer's face.
EYEWEAR HAVING A PIVOTABLE LENS RETAINER
Eyewear of the present disclosure may include a frame having left and right rims, and a central bridge portion coupling the left rim to the right rim. A lens retainer has a first end pivotably coupled to an upper member of the central bridge portion and a second end releasably latched to a lower member of the central bridge portion. A lens is disposed on a front side of the eyewear frame and clamped to the frame by the lens retainer.

EYEGLASSES WITH HIDDEN BRIDGE
Eyeglasses with a hidden bridge are revealed. The eyeglasses include at least one frame for supporting at least one lens and a bridge arranged at the frame. The frame is provided with a bridge assembly portion which is inverted U-shaped corresponding to a nose of a human face. The bridge is a U-shaped support fixed on a top of a transverse portion of the bridge assembly portion with a U-shaped opening facing the human face so that a bottom surface of the bridge is above the transverse portion of the bridge assembly portion. Thereby the bridge is hidden behind the lens. The bridge is invisible while looking at the eyeglasses from a front side. Thus value and economic benefits that come with the eyeglasses are both increased.
