CONFIGURABLE EYEWEAR SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a novel eyewear system and a method to configure the same. An eyewear system consistent with the present disclosure comprises an eyewear frame and a lens casing attached thereto. The eyewear system comprises a set of insertable lenses fitted between said eyewear frame and said lens casing. The lens casing comprises a pliable material to receive the set of insertable lenses. Further, the present disclosure provides a method for a consumer to design and order a pair of eyewear using an online system. The method may include prompting a user to choose from a plurality of unique frame options. Based on the user's selection of the frame, display to the user a plurality of lens casing options. In addition, based on the user's selection of the lens casing options, associate the selected frame and the selected lens casing with a customer order.
COUNTERWEIGHT DEVICE FOR EYEGLASSES
Implementations of a counterweight device for eyeglasses are provided. In some implementations, a counterweight device may be secured to the backend of each temple and thereby remove some to all weight of the eyeglasses from the nose and/or cheeks of the wearer. In some implementations, a pair of counterweight devices may be used to counterbalance the weight of a pair of eyeglasses. In some implementations, a counterweight device may comprise an elastic loop attached to a weight by a connector. In some implementations, a counterweight device may include fasteners configured to removably secure a weight to an elastic loop or to another weight dangling from an elastic loop. In this way, through the use of threaded fasteners, the overall weight and/or look of a counterweight device may be changed by the wearer. In some implementations, a lanyard may be used in conjunction with a pair of counterweight devices.
Novelty Shades
Attractive eyeglasses and novelty shades are provided that are fun and entertaining and can be worn at sporting events, pep rallies, amusement parks, popular concerts, car races, parties, with costumes, and at other places. The improved eyeglasses and novelty shades can comprise an eye glass assembly with a novelty connected to an eyeglass frame. Desirably, the novelty comprises a headband or a part of at least one imitation vehicle or other transportation. The headband can comprise a unitary one-piece headband or an interlocking multiple piece headband. The headband can further comprises a decorative portion, such as an imitation crown, tiara, coronet, or wreath. Preferably, the attractive imitation vehicle has at least one wheel well which is positioned about one of the earpieces of the eyeglass frame.

The modules can be provided individually or in kit form to permit the user to configure a variety of wearable devices. Wearable computing systems and devices can include glasses, lanyards, necklaces, arm bands, and watches and can be attached to one another as needed.

An article of personal protective equipment (PPE) for covering a wearer's face when wearing loupes and/or a light mounted to an eyeglass frame, the apparatus including a set of adapters, each adapter mounted or configured for mounting to an eyeglass frame, wherein each adapter has an outward extending protrusion; and a transparent face shield with opposing sidewalls joined by a convex front with upper and lower portions angled inward to cover the wearer's face when wearing the loupes and/or light, each sidewall configured to engage one of the protrusions to align an apex of the convex with the loupes and/or light.

Eyeblack glass frames
A sun glare reducer provides a right templar portion and a left templar portion. Each of the right templar portion and the left templar portion includes an elongate member having a first free end and a second connected end that connects the elongate member to the facial portion. A facial portion extends between the right templar portion and the left templar portion. The facial portion includes a right under-portion that extends inwardly toward a center of the facial portion from the right vertical portion and a left under-portion that extends inwardly toward a center of the facial portion the left vertical portion. A light absorbing surface extends outwardly away from each of the right under-portion and the left under-portion.
Eyeglasses holding clip
The eye glasses holding clip is a device for the storage of eye glasses. The device is adapted to be attached to, and worn with, eye glasses. When the eye glasses are removed, the eye glasses holding clip allows the user to attach, carry, and store the eye glasses on an article of clothing or other object. The eye glasses holding clip comprises a rectangular tube, a hinge, and a clip.
