Optical Face Protection Shield, Heated Optical Face Protection Apparatus, and Method
An optical face protection shield is provided having a support body, an optic lens, and an elongate heater. The support body has a user interface. The optic lens is carried by the support body over a user's face configured to protect a user. The elongate heater is carried by the optic lens so as to traverse an expansive surface area of the optic lens. The elongate heater has an elongate resistive heating element and an outer thermally transmissive, peak temperature mitigating, and an electrically insulative cover material encompassing the resistive heating element. A method is also provided.
Fog Shield for a Diagnostic Ophthalmic Lens and Method
A fog shield for a diagnostic ophthalmic lens is disclosed. The shield has a lens mount and an air barrier. The lens mount is configured to connect to a diagnostic ophthalmic lens. The air barrier is connected to the lens mount and extends in front of the lens mount. The air barrier is located below and in front of the diagnostic ophthalmic lens when the lens mount is connected to the diagnostic ophthalmic lens.
Slip-resistant eyewear system
A slip-resistant eyewear system comprising an eyewear frame generally comprises first and second hinges coupled to the eyewear frame which are also coupled to first and second tension adjusters. First and second bows are coupled to first and second tension adjusters. The system may comprise an eyewear retainer comprising a first end configured to couple to the first bow and a second end configured to couple to a second bow such that a tension is maintained on the unitary eyewear retainer when the unitary eyewear retainer extends around a back of a head of a user.

Electrically conductive laminated lens for eyewear and frame assembly therefor
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to eyewear (e.g., goggles, eye glasses, sun glasses, helmet shields, helmet visors, etc.) that can maximize the wearer's field of view when laminated lenses having electrically conductive functional layers (e.g., electrochromic and/or heating layers) are used. Improved field of view can be accomplished by means of reducing the bezel size of the laminated lens. For example, the bezel's non-transparent footprint can be reduced by stacking electronic components at a peripheral edge of the lens and securing with a frame assembly rather than a separate edge seal.

Transparent Body
A battery is appropriately housed in a transparent body. A transparent body includes: a transparent body main part; a defogger that removes fog on the transparent body main part; and a battery that supplies electric power to the defogger. The battery includes: a positive electrode where a transparent positive electrode conductive film and a transparent positive electrode layer are laminated on an insulating transparent positive electrode side housing; a negative electrode where a transparent negative electrode conductive film and a transparent negative electrode layer are laminated on an insulating transparent negative electrode side housing; and a transparent electrolyte layer that is arranged between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer which face each other. A film thickness of each of the positive electrode conductive film, the negative electrode conductive film, the positive electrode layer, and the negative electrode layer is such a thickness as to prevent absorption of visible light of incident light to promote transmission.

HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY DEVICE
A head-mounted display device includes a front assembly, a wearable assembly, and a cushion module. The wearable assembly is connected to the front assembly and is suitable for wearing the front assembly onto a face of a user. The cushion module includes a hard member, a soft member, and a fan. The hard member is connected to the wearable assembly. The soft member is connected to the hard member to contact skin of the user, and has a rear channel. The fan communicates with the rear channel. The soft member is connected to the hard member to contact the skin of the user, and the fan drives airflow to flow through the rear channel of the soft member to provide a heat dissipation effect.
Eyewear with ventilation openings
Eyewear is provided that has one or more lenses and a shield, the shield comprising a material that resists the passage of solids and liquids there through, and the shield is formed with one or more adjustable sections that allow one or more vents to be formed in said shield.
