Multi-chamber fluid cartridge for smart automated contact lens cleansing device
11947190 · 2024-04-02 ·

A multi-chamber fluid cartridge is configured for storage of unused cleansing solution to be used by an automated contact lens cleansing device and for storage of used cleansing solution drained from the device. For example, the multi-chamber fluid cartridge may include a first chamber configured to store the unused cleansing solution and a second chamber configured to store the used cleansing solution. After being reversibly mated with the automated contact lens cleansing device, a controlled amount of the unused cleansing solution may be transferred from the first chamber to a reservoir within the automated contact lens cleansing device for performance of one or more cleansing cycles. Upon completion of the cleansing cycles, the used cleansing solution may be drained from the reservoir to the second chamber for storage until replacement of the multi-chamber fluid cartridge.

A cleansing solution receptacle provides sterile cleansing solution when reversibly mated with a cleansing device that forces the fresh, unused contact lens solution in a manner that jets the front and back surfaces of an item with sufficient force to prevent air bubbles from clinging to surface areas of the item. Further, the cleansing device submerges the item in the fresh, unused contact cleansing solution for a controlled threshold cleansing time to ensure proper removal of contaminate build-ups on the item. Further still, according to inventive concepts, devices are automatically cleansed and dried to ensure sterility.

Dry wipe with demisting and/or cleaning action
10448793 · 2019-10-22 · ·

The present invention relates to a dry wipe comprising a woven or knitted microfiber fabric having hydrophilic polymer microfibers and lipophilic polymer microfibers, which is impregnated with at least one surfactant, the hydrophilic/lipophilic balance (HLB) of which is greater than or equal to 5. These wipes can be used to clean the surface of substrates and/or to confer demisting properties on hydrophilic surfaces.

CLOTH ACCESSORY

A cloth accessory and methods for the use thereof are disclosed and described. In one aspect, the cloth accessory may include a cover member forming an enclosure with a cavity therein, and a cloth attached to the cover member. The cloth may have a first configuration wherein the cloth is retracted substantially into the cover member, and a second configuration wherein the cloth is extended substantially out of the cover member without becoming detached therefrom.

Self-cleaning system for vision protective lens
10426665 · 2019-10-01 ·

A self-cleaning system for a vision protective lens comprises a chassis configured to be worn on a user's head, the chassis having a main body portion defining a field of view. At least one lens is coupled in angularly displaceable manner to the chassis and disposed to extend at least partially across the field of view. At least one wiper blade unit is supported on the chassis to extend across an outer surface of the lens about the field of view. The wiper blade unit includes a blade portion engaging the outer surface of the lens. A drive portion is coupled to selectively drive angular displacement of the lens. The lens is angularly displaced in selectively driven manner relative to the wiper blade unit; and, the lens is at least partially wiped by the blade portion to be cleared prior to advancement angularly into the field of view.

Deployable Flag Bracelet
