Eyeglasses with Detachable Temples and Nose Grip and Method of Use
The present invention provides an eyeglasses system and method of use comprising a frame, a temple attachment assembly positioned on the ends of the frame, detachable temples having a hollow member extending therefrom for attachment to the temple attachment assembly, and a bridge nose grip assembly so as to allow a wearer to detach a temple from one side of the frame and to wear the eyeglasses comfortably, securely and without movement of the eyeglasses while reclining on the same side as the detached temple.
FOLDABLE GLASSES WITH MAGNIFIER
Pairs of foldable glasses are provided. The pair of foldable glasses includes two lenses surrounded by a frame, the two lenses having a first side and a second side, the first side facing outwards and the second side facing the wearer, a hinged bridge for connecting the lenses together and permitting the lenses to fold together, and two temple pieces extending from an outer edge of the frame with a hinged connection between each of the temple pieces and the outer edge of the frame enabling the two temple pieces to fold inwards or forwards, wherein the two temple pieces have a hinged joint permitting a rear section of the temple pieces to fold forwards underneath the temple pieces, wherein the rear sections each include a loop configured to enable the pair of foldable glasses to be secured to a separate device.
MAGNETIC MULTIPURPOSE WEARABLE RETAINER
The field of invention relates to wearable retainers, and more particularly pertains to a new and improved eyewear retainer apparatus (100) wherein the same permits securement of ornamental indicia such as hatpins (110), lapel pins, trading pins and the like thereto. The magnetic multipurpose wearable retainer (100) has a cylindrical cavity (240) configured to releasably retain the nail portion (315) of said ornamental indicia. Said wearable retainer (100) attaches to shirts (900), hats (1200), jackets (1000), and other articles of clothing and accessories (1100). A hoop constructed of a length of fishing wire (120) is attached thereto said wearable retainer (100) for releasably securing eyewear (125). An earpiece (135) of said eyewear (125) is hooked through said hoop (120) until said eyewear lug (140) rests on said hoop (120), thus suspending said eyewear (125) therefrom. The embodiments disclosed herein retain ornamental nail bearing type indicia while keeping eyewear (125) and other items releasably attached thereto within easy reach.
Near-eye display systems, devices and methods
A near-eye display device includes (a) a display unit having a liquid-crystal-on-silicon (LCOS) display and a first polarizing beam splitter interface for (i) reflecting illumination light from an illumination module towards the liquid-crystal-on-silicon display and (ii) transmitting display light from the LCOS display based on the illumination light, and (b) a viewing unit having an imaging objective that forms an image of the LCOS display for the pupil based on the display light, and a second polarizing beam splitter interface for (i) reflecting reflected display light from the imaging objective towards the pupil and (ii) transmitting ambient light from an ambient scene towards a pupil, the second polarizing beam splitter interface and the first polarizing beam splitter interface being orthogonal to a common plane.
CONNECTORS FOR ATTACHING ONE OR MORE WEARABLE DEVICES TO EYEWEAR
A connector assembly comprising a base having an adapter and a retainer, the adapter configured to reversibly couple to a wearable device using a magnet, ferromagnetic material, or combinations thereof; an elastic member partially positioned within the retainer, the elastic member having a first loop portion adjacent a first end of the retainer and a second loop portion adjacent a second end of the retainer; and wherein the elastic member is configured to stretchably move with respect to the base such that, responsive to a force pulling the first loop portion over a portion of an eyewear frame, the second loop portion changes in size.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FITTING HEAD MOUNTED VISION AUGMENTATION SYSTEMS
A head worn display can be designed with an integrated camera for obtaining an image of a scene, transmitting the obtained image to a processor, modification of the image in substantially real time by the processor, and displaying the modified image on a display device worn by the individual. According to embodiments of the invention various methods are provided for adjusting the position of the displayed video in the horizontal left/right, vertical up/down, and horizontal in/out, and angular up/down dimensions relative to the individual's eyes.
Eyeglass frame system where lenses can move from one frame to another
The current invention is a detachable eyeglass frame system that will provide consumers a way to take their single pair of prescription lenses out of their manufacturers frames and place them into another set of the same manufacturer's frames but, of different color and/or style. The eyeglass frame system comprises an eyeglass frame including a front section removably secured to a horizontal bar. The horizontal bar is removably secured along the upper end of the front section by one or more fasteners, such as magnets. By lifting the Removable Horizontal Bar from Frame Rear, lenses easily slide out of their current frames and easily slide into their other frames.
Extendable eyeglasses and method of use
An eyeglass apparatus comprises first and second eyeglass portions, each having a connector portion and a lens portion. The eyeglass apparatus is configured to transition between stowed and extended configurations. When the eyeglass apparatus is in the stowed configuration, the lens portions overlie one another. When the eyeglass apparatus is in the extended configuration, the lens portions are in a non-overlying configuration.
GLASSES/CAP SYSTEM
A glasses/cap system for separably coupling glasses to a cap and for securing the glasses to the hat in either a usage orientation or a storage orientation. The coupling components mainly consisting of complementary magnets and ferromagnetic materials located in reciprocal parts of the glasses and cap alone or in combination with push type or bungee type connectors.
RX ADD-ON FOR GLASSES
The present disclosure includes an optical article for use with an eyewear apparatus. In some implementations, the optical article includes a single optical member having opposing first and second lens surfaces and a magnet coupled to the optical member and configured to be coupled to a frame of an eyewear apparatus. The optical article may also include a mounting bracket coupled to the optical member and configured to be coupled to the frame of the eyewear apparatus.
