Spectacle frames
A frame for spectacles includes a front frame with lateral projections for articulation of respective temple arms and articulation means between each projection and the corresponding temple projection for articulated connection of the temple projection to the front frame. The articulation means includes a resiliently yielding element independent of the projection and the temple arm. The element having a first extremity attached to the temple arm and a second opposite extremity engaged with predetermined play in an opening passing through the projection. The opening distanced from the free edge of the projection facing the temple arm such that the portion of the projection extending between the edge and the opening remains held between the resilient element and the temple arm in order to perform a hinge movement between the projection and the temple arm through relative movement of the second extremity of the resilient element in the opening.
Magnetically Mounted Connector for Adhesion of a Pair of Auxiliary Eyeglasses
A magnetically mounted connector is used to join a spectacles frame and a temple of a pair of eyeglasses. The spectacles frame has a mounting portion at each lateral end thereof. The magnetically mounted connector includes a connector body, a magnetic holder, and a magnet held in the magnetic holder. The connector body has one end to which the mounting portion of the spectacles frame is connected. The magnetic holder is extended outward from the connector body. When the magnetically mounted connector joins the spectacles frame and the temple, the magnet is situated at an inner side of the mounting portion of the spectacles frame for adhesion of a pair of auxiliary eyeglasses to the pair of eyeglasses.
SPECTACLES WITH CUSTOMIZABLE FRAME
A spectacles includes a front element intended to be connected to two lateral temple arms, and at least one personalisation element supporting the lenses and configured to be fixed removably on the front element by a complementary retainer. The complementary retainer includes, on the one hand, at least one stub which projects substantially perpendicularly from the rear face of the personalisation element and, on the other hand, at least one slot, formed in the front element, the slot being designed to be deformed elastically so as to exert an elastic return force on the stub after introduction thereof into the slot in order to hold the personalisation element on the front element.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF A LEATHER EYEGLASS FRAME AND EYEGLASS FRAME OBTAINED WITH SUCH A PROCESS
A manufacturing process of a leather eyeglasses frame and eyeglasses frame obtained with such a process is disclosed. An eyeglasses frame is provided wherein the frontal lens-holder frame, and possibly each of the two lateral temples, are made of two identical layers of leather, between which a thin reinforcing metal core is concealingly inserted.
FOLDING EYEGLASS FRAMES HAVING A BRIDGE ASSEMBLY
An eyeglass structure includes a bridge, a first frame portion, and a second frame portion. The bridge includes a first lateral bridge column and a second lateral bridge. The first frame portion includes a first leaf spring having a distal portion configured to reach around and rotate about the first lateral bridge column. A first tab configured to engage the bridge to limit rotation of the first frame portion is further included in the first frame portion. Likewise, the second frame portion includes a second leaf spring having a distal portion configured to reach around and rotate about the second lateral bridge column, and a second tab configured to engage the bridge to limit rotation of the second frame portion.
Spectacle attachment that provides protection
Systems and methods in accordance with embodiments of the invention implement spectacle attachments that can provide protection from radiation. In one embodiment, a spectacle attachment that provides protection from radiation includes: a body of material that is a barrier to at least some form of radiation; where the body of material is configured so that it can couple with either temple of a pair of glasses; and where the body of material is sized to protect the side of a wearer's face from at least approximately the wearer's temple to approximately below the wearer's cheek when the body of material is coupled to a temple of a pair of glasses and the pair of glasses is worn.
MOUNTING PLATE AND OPTICAL INSPECTION APPARATUS
A mounting plate and an optical inspection apparatus are disclosed. The mounting plate includes: a base plate; at least two first bars disposed above the base plate and extending in a first direction; and at least two second bars extending in a second direction. Each second bar being configured to be slidable in the first direction relative to the at least two first bars. The mounting plate may further comprises a third bar extending in the first direction and disposed between two adjacent first bars, the third bar being configured to be slidable in the second direction relative to the at least two second bars.
Frame joint and hinge for eyewear
A hinge and joint for a pair of eyeglasses is disclosed. A split frame has upper and lower rim end pieces that bend and extend rearwardly. A vertically-extending hollow shaft is provided on the end of a temple. A spring or springs are positioned laterally between the rim end pieces and the shaft, such that the shaft bears against the spring or springs. A U-shaped housing fits over the exterior top, bottom, and side of the joint and has a pair of aligned slots in top and bottom flanges. A pin is placed through the aligned slots in the housing and the shaft of the temple. Lateral force provided by the spring or springs biases the joint away from the aligned position, and that force, in combination with upper and lower shoulders on the pin, keep the joint and hinge together.
Wavy structure of spectacle frame
The present invention relates to a wavy structure of a spectacle frame, and the technical object of the present invention is to provide a wavy structure of a spectacle frame which is compatible to multiple different lenses, is convenient to install, and is firm and stable when in use. The wavy structure of the present invention includes a spectacle lens frame and frame temple, and an inner ring of the spectacle lens frame is shaped as a wavy structure. The present invention not only has elasticity and can be compatible to lens of different models, but also can firmly stabilize the lens, and is applied to the production and use of man-rated spectacle field.
ARTICULATED ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to an articulated assembly comprising a first piece connected to a second piece by a screwless hinge (1, 4) which comprises a body (4) having a cylindrical axial recess of revolution (5) which opens onto at least one of the axial faces of the body (4) and a cylindrical hub of revolution (1), with a diameter (d) corresponding to the diameter (D) of the axial recess (5) of the body (4), fully housed in said axial recess (5); this hub (1) comprising a radial cavity (2) opening onto its periphery, and the lateral wall of the body (4) comprising an opening (8) with a predetermined angular extent (a). The first piece comprises an end provided with fixing elements (12) arranged to be fixedly attached to the body (4) of the hinge (1, 4), the second piece comprises an end provided with coupling elements (17) suitable for being introduced into the radial cavity (2) of the hub (1) through the opening (8) of the body (4) and is provided with retaining means (18) cooperating, in the in-use position introduced into the axial cavity (2) of the hub (1), with the cylindrical wall of revolution of the axial recess (5) of the body (4).
The invention also relates to a first piece, a second piece and a hinge for such an assembly, considered separately.
Finally, the invention relates to a spectacles frame.
