Optical sheet tensioning device

Assemblies for enhancing the optical quality of electronic images displayed at an electronic display layer are provided. An optical component is located adjacent to the electronic display layer within a housing for the electronic display layer and the optical component. At least one shock-absorbing subassembly is attached to a location along the housing and to said optical component.

A display device includes a housing, a display panel, a light source, a first acquirer, a second acquirer, and a stabilizer. The display panel is provided in the housing. The light source is provided in the housing, and includes an LED that irradiates the display panel with light. The first acquirer acquires a first temperature in a first region including a region where the light source is disposed in the housing. The second acquirer acquires a second temperature in a second region different from the first region. The stabilizer has a first adjustment mode for lighting the LED with maximum luminance as an adjustment mode for stabilizing luminance of the LED. The stabilizer operates the LED in the first adjustment mode in a case where a temperature difference between the first temperature and the second temperature is a first threshold value or more.

A display assembly with loopback cooling includes a housing for an electronic display where a first airflow pathway extends within the housing. An equipment storage device for electronic equipment located at a storage area within the housing. A second airflow pathway fluidly connects the storage area with the first airflow pathway. One or more fans, when activated, cause a flow of air to travel through a portion of the first airflow pathway extending rearward of the electronic display in a first direction and a portion of the flow to leave the portion of the first airflow pathway and travel through the second airflow pathway, at least initially, in a second direction.

A printed circuit board includes a substrate and a plurality of pad forming regions disposed thereon. The plurality of pad forming regions are spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance. A plurality of connection pads are disposed on a portion of the plurality of pad forming regions. The plurality of connection pads are configured to transmit or receive a signal to an external device or from the external device. The printed circuit board includes a path configured for the transportation of moisture therein.

Systems and methods for reducing solar loading of an electronic image assembly are provided. A cover panel forms a portion of a housing, is spaced apart from an electronic display, and permits viewing of images displayed at the electronic display. An airflow pathway extends between the electronic display and the cover panel and behind the electronic display. An air circulation device moves air through the airflow pathway. A second air circulation device moves airflow through a second airflow pathway within the housing which forms a closed loop around the electronic display. At least one solar energy reduction layer is located at an interior of the cover panel.

Expanded heat sink for electronic displays

Exemplary embodiments provide an electronic display assembly. One or more heat-generating components are preferably placed in thermal communication with a plate. One or more fans are placed to draw cooling air along the plate to remove the heat removed from the component. Some embodiments may place the plate behind the electronic image assembly, so that cooling air can remove heat from the plate as well as the electronic image assembly. Exemplary embodiments have power modules in thermal communication with optional conductive ribs. Conductive thermal communication is established between the optional ribs and the components in the exemplary embodiments.

A fixed structure is positioned within a cavity located within the structural framework and between the side assemblies. The fixed structure remains stationary when the side assemblies are moved between a closed position where the cavity is enclosed, and an opened position where the fixed structure is exposed to facilitate direct access to electronic components located thereon.

A display module has therein a heat dissipater, an installation frame, a LCD plate, an optical membrane, a diffusion plate and a light board respectively and sequentially received inside the installation frame, a first space defined between the LCD panel and the optical membrane. A heat dissipater has a first inlet, a first outlet both of which are defined in the installation frame and form a first airway inside the first space and a screen respectively provided to the first inlet and the first outlet. The formation of the airway facilitates air convection inside the display module, which helps dissipate heat generated from the operation of the display module.
