The disclosure provides a display device including a substrate, two adjacent scan lines, two adjacent data lines and an opening. Two adjacent scan lines extending along a first direction. Two adjacent scan lines and two disposed adjacent data lines are disposed on the substrate. The pixel is defined by the two adjacent scan lines and the two adjacent data lines. The opening is corresponding to the pixel, and an edge of the opening is adjacent to an edge of one of the two adjacent scan lines. A distance between the edge of the opening and the edge of the one of the two adjacent scan lines is from 1 micrometer to 2 micrometers, and the distance is along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The display device of the disclosed embodiment may improve the contrast ration of the display device.

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate including a first alignment film covering a pixel electrode, a second substrate including a second alignment film covering a second common electrode, a sealant attaching the first substrate and the second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer held between the first alignment film and the second alignment film, wherein the first alignment film and the second alignment film are formed of a material in which a principal chain is composed of silica (SiO.sub.2), and extend at a position overlapping the sealant between an inner face and an outer face of the sealant.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provides an array substrate and a manufacturing method thereof, a display panel. The array substrate includes: a base (10); a pixel electrode (50) and a thin film transistor disposed on the base (10); a passivation layer (16) covering the thin film transistor and the pixel electrode (50), the passivation layer (16) being provided with a transferring through hole (K1, K2) that simultaneously exposes the pixel electrode (50) and a drain electrode (15) or a source electrode (14) of the thin film transistor; a connection electrode (60) disposed on the passivation layer (16) and at the transferring through hole (K1, K2), the connection electrode (60) connected with the pixel electrode (50), and the drain electrode (15) or the source electrode (14) through the transferring through hole (K1, K2). The present disclosure realizes a connection between the drain electrode (15) or the source electrode (14) and the pixel electrode (50) by using one transferring through hole (K1, K2), which effectively reduces the number of through holes, increases an aperture ratio of the display panel, improves product quality and yield.

A display panel and an electronic device are disclosed. The display panel includes a display area and a functional area. The functional area includes a first switch transistor, a second switch transistor, a sensing transistor, and a sensing capacitor. Specifically, an upper plate of the sensing capacitor is a transparent plate. The functional area can also serve a displaying function while performing color temperature sensing, gas sensing, or laser sensing, which increases an aperture ratio and transmittance of the display panel, so that an overall visual effect of the display panel is improved.
