Backlight device and display apparatus
The backlight device included in the display apparatus is provided with: a light guide plate, a front chassis (pressing member) disposed at the front side of the light guide plate; and a heat sink (supporting member) having a plate-shaped connecting part (connecting plate) disposed at the side of the light guide plate, to be connected with other members. A through hole is formed in the connecting part, and a nut, which is necessary for connecting a bezel and the front chassis with a screw, is press-fitted into the through hole. A portion of the front side end of the connecting part, which is closest to a through hole, is a recessed part. Even if the front side end of the connecting part is deformed by the press-fitting of the nut into the through hole, the recessed part counteracts the deformation, and the connecting part does not interfere with the front chassis. Therefore, positional deviation of the front chassis and the light guide plate does not occur.
DISPLAY DEVICE, AND BACK PLATE USED IN DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a display panel that displays an image and a back plate that holds the display panel. The back plate has mounting sections, a plurality of vertically bulging sections, and a laterally bulging section. The mounting sections are disposed on a plurality of positions on an edge part of one end of the back plate, and holding members that hold the display device are mounted to the mounting sections respectively. The vertically bulging sections bulge out from a reference surface of the back plate, and extend from near one ends of the mounting sections to an edge part of the other end of the back plate on an opposite side from the one end of the back plate. The laterally bulging section bulges out from the reference surface, extends along an edge of the other end of the back plate, and has a length larger than a distance between the vertically bulging sections adjacent to each other.

A display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate which faces the first substrate, is smaller than the first substrate so that an edge of the first substrate is exposed in a plan view, a fixing member disposed on the exposed edge of the first substrate, and a bonding member disposed between the first substrate and the fixing member.

A display assembly includes a display device, a first clamping plate and a second clamping plate. The display apparatus has at least one display area, and the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate are disposed on two opposite sides of the display device in a thickness direction thereof. At least one of the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate is located on at least one light-emitting side of the display device, and in a clamping plate located on a light-emitting side of the display device, at least a partial region of a portion covering an active area of the display device is in a transparent state. Edges of the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate have at least one adapter portion, and adapter portions are configured to fix the display assembly to an object in an external environment through at least one adapter.
METHOD OF ETCHING DISPLAY PANEL FOR MANUFACTURING CURVED DISPLAY DEVICE
A method of etching a display panel for manufacturing a curved display device comprises the steps of: applying a masking ink in a manner of immersing a non-etched portion of a display panel into an ink reservoir, which contains the masking ink, in order to protrude the non-etched portion from the display panel; curing the masking ink coated on the non-etched portion of the display panel; etching the display panel to reduce the thickness of the display panel by coating an etching liquid onto the display panel on which the masking ink is cured; and removing the masking ink from the etched display panel with a solvent, which dissolves the masking ink.
Display apparatus and panel fixing device thereof
A display apparatus includes a back plate having a rear wall and a peripheral wall that cooperatively define an accommodation space, a light guide plate disposed in the accommodation space, a display panel disposed in the accommodation space forwardly of the light guide plate, a plurality of stacked optical films disposed between the light guide plate and the display panel, and a panel fixing device including a first limiting unit and a second limiting unit that cooperate with each other to clamp and fix a peripheral edge portion of the display panel therebetween.
DISPLAY DEVICE
This display device comprises: a display panel; a module cover positioned on the rear surface of the display panel; an adhesive member coupling the module cover and the display panel; a substrate plate covering a first region on the rear surface of the module cover; and a control unit coupled to the rear surface of the substrate plate and controlling the display panel, wherein the substrate plate includes a contacting part that is in contact with the module cover, and a spacing part that is spaced apart from the module cover and forms an air gap between the substrate plate and the module cover. The thickness of the module panel and the number of components can be reduced, such that the manufacturing cost of the display device and the weight of the product can be reduced.

The present application provides a splicing display device, a light-emitting diode (LED) substrate is arranged on adjacent display devices, and the LED substrate covers a gap. LED elements are arranged on a base. A first magnetic member is arranged on the base. A fastening module includes a fastening element and a magnetic assembly. The fastening element is arranged on a support module. At least a portion of the fastening element is arranged corresponding to the gap. The magnetic assembly is arranged on the fastening element and located in the gap. The magnetic assembly is magnetically connected to the first magnetic member.

A display panel includes: a first substrate; a second substrate; a first alignment film layer provided on the first substrate, wherein the first alignment film is sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate; a plurality of protruding regions formed about a perimeter edge portion of the first substrate, wherein the plurality of protruding regions include an associated trench region provided in a plurality thereof, wherein each trench region includes at least one trench, each trench being configured to retain a portion of the first alignment film layer or the second alignment film layer when sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate so as to limit shrinkage of the first alignment film layer or the second alignment film layer during operation of the display panel.
DISPLAY TILE WITH INCREASED DISPLAY AREA
A display tile having a frame whose compliance is increased in a well determined region to accommodate the different thermal expansions of the frame and one or more substrates to which the frame is fastened. The display tile has also regions of increased compliance that will deform to allow different parts of the frame to be brought into contact and glued to the lateral sides of two superimposed substrates when at least one lateral side of one of the substrates is not coplanar with the corresponding lateral side of the other substrate.
