PROJECTOR AND PROJECTION METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed is a projector, including a plurality of imaging modules and a control unit. The imaging modules are configured to provide the first light beam, the second light beam, and the third light beam of different wavelengths. The imaging modules include a first imaging module, a second imaging module, and a third imaging module. The control unit respectively provides a first signal, a second signal, and a third signal to the first imaging module, the second imaging module, and the third imaging module. The first imaging module to the third imaging module alternately provide the first light beam to the third light beam respectively according to the first signal to the third signal to form an image light beam. At the same time sequence, the light beams provided by the first imaging module to the third imaging module have different wavelengths.
LIGHT SOURCE SYSTEM AND PROJECTION SYSTEM
A light source system and a projection system, comprising a light source; a switching system switching light emitted by the light source into at least two light beams having a preset proportion in the manner of time division or light intensity division; a color wheel assembly located in a transmission light path of each light beam of the at least two light beams, with the color wheel assembly generating light having different colors and a preset proportion under the irradiation of each light beam of the at least two light beams, and light of different colors being able to synthesize a projection image after being modulated by a light modulation system, wherein the switching system can adjust the proportion of the at least two light beams according to the parameters of the projection image, so as to adjust the proportion of the light of different colors.
COMPACT PROJECTION SYSTEMS AND RELATED COMPONENTS
Projection systems and components thereof are described that are well suited to miniaturization. These systems and components may use one or more of the following features: a folded optical path, as in a reflective cavity or a beamsplitter; an illumination beam that is converging at the place where it impinges upon the spatial light modulator; a beamsplitter that uses opposed prisms of substantially different sizes; a beamsplitter whose obliquely disposed partial reflector defines a first rectangular reference space, and where at least a portion of the light source or at least a portion of the projector lens is disposed within such first rectangular reference space; a system in which a ratio of areas of the first rectangular reference space and a second rectangular reference space is within a specified range, where the second rectangular reference space is just large enough to encompass the optical components of the projector; a system in which the projector lens is small compared to the spatial light modulator.
EYEWEAR WAVEGUIDE WITH REFLECTOR
Eyewear including a frame, a projector supported by the frame, and a lens supported by the frame. The lens has a first surface facing an eye of the user and a second surface facing away from the eye of the user when the frame is worn. The lens also includes a waveguide defined by the first and second surfaces to receive light from the projector. An input light coupler and an output light coupler are on the first surface of the lens and at least one reflector is positioned on a second surface of the lens to redirect light received from the input coupler and/or the output coupler to redirect light having an angle of incidence with respect to the second surface of the lens that would result in that portion of the light exiting the waveguide through the second surface in the absence of the at least one reflector.
Video projector system
Some embodiments provide for a modular video projector system having a light engine module and an optical engine module. The light engine module can provide narrow-band laser light to the optical engine module which modulates the laser light according to video signals received from a video processing engine. Some embodiments provide for an optical engine module having a sub-pixel generator configured to display video or images at a resolution of at least four times greater than a resolution of modulating elements within the optical engine module. Systems and methods for reducing speckle are presented in conjunction with the modular video projector system.
Fly-eye lens and optical engine for projector including same
An optical engine for a projector according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first light source unit; a second light source unit which outputs a light with a color which is different from that of the first light source unit; a third light source unit which outputs a light with a color which is different from those of the first and second light source units; a micro display panel which outputs a predetermined image; a fly-eye lens which equalizes lights and includes a plurality of cells, each of which is configured by a convex lens; and a projection lens which projects a generated projection image to the outside on the basis of an output light of the first to third light source units and an output image, wherein two or more cells among a plurality of cells have shapes different from shapes of other cells. Therefore, optical efficiency can be improved while simplifying a structure and a component of the projector so that manufacturing costs and an installation space can be reduced and display quality can be improved.
PROJECTOR
A projection lens has lens holding frames that hold lenses. In a case where an image forming panel is disposed to be shifted with respect to an optical axis of the projection lens, an increase in temperature of a first part on a side to which the image forming panel is shifted with respect to the optical axis L, is greater than that of a second part on the opposite side. A hollow structure, which makes the first part 36f and the second part 36g communicate with each other, has a porous layer and is filled with a heat storage medium. By circulating the heat storage medium through the inside of the hollow structure, the first part is cooled, and the second part is heated. Therefore, temperature distribution in the circumferential direction of the lens barrel becomes uniform, and deterioration in performance of the projected image is suppressed.
PROJECTION LENS, PROJECTOR, AND METHOD OF PREVENTING IMAGE DETERIORATION THEREOF
A projection lens includes: first to fifth lenses; a light shielding ring; an aperture stop; and a lens barrel. The light shielding ring is rotated in a circumferential direction of the lens barrel by a rotation mechanism. In a case where an image forming panel is shifted with respect to an optical axis of the projection lens, a part, through which the light passes, is biased in the projection lens, whereby temperature distribution occurs in the lens barrel in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis. The thermal deformation of the high temperature side of the lens barrel due to the temperature distribution is greater than that on the low temperature side. The respective lenses may be tilted due to thermal deformation. By rotating the light shielding ring through the rotation mechanism, the temperature increases uniformly in the circumferential direction of the light shielding ring.
HIGH BRIGHTNESS PROJECTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A hybrid projector architecture combines steered light with unsteered light. In some embodiments the steered light is narrowband light and the unsteered light is broadband light. Splitting between the steered and unsteered light may be determined based on luminance level. For example, the unsteered light may contribute a large proportion of the light for luminance levels up to a threshold. The steered light may contribute an increasing proportion of the light as luminance values rise above the threshold.
AIR CONDITIONER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
An air conditioner having a projector and a method for controlling the same output an image to a display plate of the air conditioner and to the periphery of the air conditioner.
