Sole for dispersing pressure of midfoot and metatarsal bones and shoe having same
The present invention relates to a midsole for dispersing the pressure of the mesopodium and the metatarsal bones, and a shoe having the same, the midsole having, installed in a metatarsal bone portion and mesopodium portion of the central upper part thereof, a midfoot support for receiving an inner sole, which protrudes upwardly so as to support the mesopodium, and having a bridge groove formed in a metatarsal bone portion of the lower part thereof, wherein the bridge groove consists of three components, and has been improved so as to be capable of supporting joints between the metatarsal bone body and basal tarsus metatarsal bones.
Material for Enhancing the Effects of Exercise
A compressible material is provided for use with athletic equipment and apparel for enhancing the effects of physical exercise for a person. The material can include one or more compression members that extend from shoes, insoles for shoes, exercise gloves, wraps for exercise equipment, exercise mat or floor covering, headbands, socks, exercise garments, free weights and sports helmets. The compression members can be made of one or more of rubber, thermoplastic rubber, foam rubber, polyurethane rubber, silicone rubber, thermoplastic resin and thermoplastic elastomer. Positioning the compressible material such that it is between the user and any surface for example when exercising, requires the person to maintain balance while performing the exercise by using other muscles that would not ordinarily be used during the exercise, and provides proprioceptive feedback to the person's central nervous system.
MAT STRUCTURE AND SOLE STRUCTURE
A sole structure includes: an anti-skid layer, a rigid layer, an elastic piece and a soft layer which are superimposed upon one another. With the characteristic of the elastic piece being elastically deformable, a rebounding force can be produced to act on the foot to stimulate the ligaments and muscles of the foot, which consequently corrects the flatfoot.
Rocker Shoes, Rocker Shoe Development Kit and Method
A rocker shoe has a lower rocker surface extending across the plantar surface of the shoe sole from the heel and terminating short of the toe. A rocker shoe construction kit has a rigid or substantially rigid rocker piece having an upper surface for securing over a major portion of a lower plantar surface of the sole of a shoe upper and a lower surface of predetermined rocker shape, a cushioning layer for securing over the lower surface of the rocker piece, and a layer of tread material configured for securing over the lower surface of the cushioning layer and any exposed portion of the plantar surface of a shoe.
Sole structure with bottom-loaded compression
A running shoe includes an upper coupled to a sole structure. The sole structure includes a compressible midsole and an outsole. The midsole possesses a first compression value. A compression plate or insert possessing a second compression value is positioned between the midsole and the outsole. Specifically, the insert is softer, or has a smaller compression value, than the midsole. The outsole wraps around a sole structure such that it contacts the midsole and the insert. The outer surface of the outsole includes a series of treads or traction elements extending along the bottom and sides of the outsole. With this configuration, when the sole structure contacts an uneven topography, the outsole conforms around the topography, stabilizing the footwear during use.
Article of footwear having cushioning system
An article of footwear includes an upper and a sole coupled to the upper. The sole includes an upper sole, a fluid filled bladder coupled to the upper sole, and a plurality of recesses disposed between the upper sole and the bladder. The bladder includes a plurality of chambers extending below the upper sole. The plurality of chambers hold a fluid. Ambient air is disposed within the plurality of recesses between the upper sole and the bladder.
ORTHOPEDIC WALKING BRACE HAVING A CURVED SOLE
Described herein are systems and devices for providing an orthopedic walking brace having a housing and a sole with a curved distal surface. The housing is configured to encompass and immobilize a patient's ankle against flexion. The distal surface of the sole has a posterior region, a mid region, and an anterior region. The posterior region is configured to lie under a heel portion of the patient's foot and has a first anterior-posterior (AP) curvature that increases from a posterior side of the posterior region toward a middle portion of the posterior region and decreases from the middle portion of the posterior region toward the mid region. The mid region is configured to lie under a center portion of the patient's foot. The anterior region is configured to lie under an anterior metatarsal and toe portion of the patient's foot and has a second AP curvature.
HEEL CLAMP FOR FOOTWEAR SOLE ARRANGEMENT
A heel clamp, or posterior component, for an article of footwear is provided. The heel clamp may comprise a posterior component height value measuring a height value from a lowest point under the heel of the foot on an upper facing surface to a top of the posterior component. A lateral component and a medial component of the heel clamp may include a predetermined height value or an extension height value. The lateral component may be extending into or through an area in-between a lateral malleolus bone of the foot and an Achilles tendon of the foot, the medial component may be extending into or through an area in-between a medial malleolus bone of the foot and the Achilles tendon of the foot, and the intermediate component may be extending to an area of an end of a top of a calcaneus bone of the foot.
Article of footwear having a sole plate
An article of footwear includes an upper and a sole structure coupled to the upper. The sole structure defines a ground engaging surface, and includes a cushioning member coupled to the upper and an outsole coupled to the cushioning member. The outsole includes a central portion and a plurality of lobes extending outward from a periphery of the central portion. Each of the plurality of lobes is independently movable relative to one another.

The posterior region is configured to lie under a heel portion of the patient's foot, and the mid region is configured to lie under a center portion of the patient's foot. The anterior region is configured to lie under an anterior metatarsal and toe portion of the patient's foot, and has an Anterior-Posterior curvature that increases from a posterior side of the anterior region toward a middle portion of the anterior region and decreases from the middle portion toward an anterior side of the anterior region.
