An article of footwear includes an upper and a midsole coupled to the upper. The midsole includes a cavity formed in a heel portion of the midsole, and the cavity has an interior surface. The article of footwear includes a dome-shaped support member disposed within the cavity, and a foam insert disposed below the support member. A top surface of the dome-shaped support member abuts the interior surface of the cavity of the midsole.

A method of forming a plate for an article of footwear includes applying a first strand portion to a base layer including positioning adjacent segments of the first strand portion to form a first layer on the base layer. The adjacent segments of the first strand portion having a greater density across a width of the plate between a medial side and a lateral side at a midfoot region of the plate than at a forefoot region of the plate and at a heel region of the plate. The method also includes applying at least one of heat and pressure to the first strand portion and to the base layer to conform the first strand portion and the base layer to a predetermined shape.

A sole structure with an integrated cleat member includes a plate member with a protruding portion that forms a first portion of the cleat member. A second portion of the cleat member is attached to the first portion and may be made of a less rigid material than the first portion. A supporting structure can be disposed inside the protruding portion. A method of forming the sole structure can include reshaping a portion of a plate member to form a protruding portion, molding a cleat tip portion onto the protruding portion and molding a supporting structure into a concave inner portion of the protruding portion.

The sole plate may have a foot-facing surface and a ground-facing surface opposite to the foot-facing surface. The sole plate may define a through hole extending from the foot-facing surface to the ground-facing surface in the forefoot region. The through hole may be closer to a medial edge of the sole plate than to a lateral edge of the sole plate. The sole plate may have ridges extending longitudinally in the midfoot region and in the forefoot region. A sole structure for an article of footwear has a sole plate that may include a midfoot region, and also may include a forefoot region or a heel region. The sole plate may have a foot-facing surface with ridges extending longitudinally in the midfoot region and in the forefoot region or heel region. The sole plate may have a ground-facing surface with grooves extending longitudinally in correspondence with the ridges. A thickness of the sole plate from the foot-facing surface to the ground-facing surface may vary at a transverse cross-section of the sole plate through the ridges, or along a length of at least one of the ridges, or at both the transverse cross-section and along the length of the at least one of the ridges. The ridges may have crests at least some of which may extend non-parallel with one another in a longitudinal direction of the sole plate.

A sole structure for an article of footwear is provided and includes a plate having a concave ground-engaging surface extending between a medial side of the plate and a lateral side of the plate and movable between a relaxed state and a flexed state. The concave surface has an increased radius when moved from the relaxed state to the flexed state. A first ground-engaging member extends from the plate proximate to the medial side of the plate and a second ground-engaging member extends from the plate proximate to the lateral side of the plate. The second ground-engaging member is spaced apart from the first ground-engaging member by a first distance when the plate is in the relaxed state and is spaced apart from the first ground engaging member by a second distance greater than the first distance when the plate is in the flexed state.

A device is configured to treat ulcers/chronic wounds. First, and intermediate insoles are constructed from including the semi-compressed felt. A third sole serving as the base of the device is made constructed from including Ethylene Vinyl Acetate EVA. A cavity with beveled edge in the first insole is configured to over-lap the chronic wounds or ulcerations.
